And, damn, he was probably gettable at one time. He would excel with the Wizards. And just the type of big man we could use.

i would prefer Elton Brand/Kevin Garnett....but those are two players we wont have a chance of getting unless we throw in some serouis trade bate

Yep, looks like all he needed was some minutes. Hard to come by when you're stuck behind Brand.
I'd give trade Haywood or Thomas + a draft pick for him in a second.

thats exactly what i was thinking before i read these posts. the wizards will always be a second fiddle to teams like miami and detroit until they beef up in the paint. wilcox could be a fantastic acquisiton and im sure he would love to come back to where he played his college ball

I would take Wilcox in a second, however I am optimistic that Blatche will work out....

I like Wilcox. He's played very well as of late for the Sonics. He would be a good addition to our team.
I'd start him over Brenda and Etan anyday.

Wilcox has consistently looked good since being traded though. I wouldnt exactly call Blake or Dixon failed either, they have been streaky but consistency is tough to come by when you start one game and DNP the next.

have you even looked at his past 10 games before you made this post?
AVG 20.6PPG 13.2 RPG
including a game where he had 26 points and 23 REBOUNDS...
this is all pointles snow, but i really think the wizards should have made a run at him... who knew?

CONTRACT YEAR + CRAPPY TEAM DOES NOT A STAR MAKE.
When Seattle eats his contract and he comes back out of shape and blah blah blah, you'll know.
See Jerome James, Mark Blount, Erick Dampier, etc etc etc. Big men suck

Those guys are all just huge, slow, and half-retarded...a la Brendan Haywood. Wilcox is at least athletic. I'd say style-wise, Chris Wilcox is more Shawn Kemp than Jerome James.

Wilcox can't hit a jumper to save his life.He rarely gets over five inches off the ground.Great for put-backs ,but not much else.

wilcox worked on his 15 footer..he can hit them, just not constantly...but i think with us..he would excel...i REALLY hope we make a run at him if he decides to be a free agent!

I meant Kemp in his prime...although obviously not as good. Better than old fat Shawn Kemp though.

We would be very lucky to add him but its not going to happen. Its to late, he already broke out. Seattle isnt going to loose him.
