I'm not really scared of Cleveland. I'm scared of the Wizards. Does that make sense?

I'm glad they finally clinched. I really think the Wiz match up well with cleveland in the first round.

I really hope we can maintain the 5th seed so we can play the cavs. I think we match up real well

gilbert is a proven playoff LEGEND compared to lebron

i think our run in the playoffs this year will cement Arenas as an NBA legend

Let's hold that 5th spot and knock Hughes and James out of the playoffs!

If we maintain the 5th spot and beat the Cavaliers, does that almost guarantee that we'll meet the Pistons in the 2nd round?

I know this sounds crazy but we've beaten them both times this year with one game left to play.

Do match up better against them or is it just a fluke?

I like to dream! :D

Hell yea! First back to back playoff appearences since the mid-80's. Great job top to bottom from the Wizard's organization. We must beat the Bucks Tuesday or the Pistons in the last game to hope to maintain the 5th seed. We match up better against Cleveland than we do the Nets. We made it to the 2nd round last year and I am hoping we have at least 1 more round farther in us this year....

Last year watching the Bulls-Wiz series was a lot of fun. I taped most of the series and last night before bed, sat and watched bits of the tape and it really got me excited about seeing the Wiz in the playoffs again. Hopefully, we'll go out there and make it happen and go farther than last year.

Here's to us holding down that 5 seed.

I don't know if we match up well with the Pistons.

The first game was a crazy one. It was in Detroit, we were up BIG, they rallied back to take a 10 point lead late in the game before Chucky Atkins just hit lightning in a bottle and net something like 8 3s in that quarter. In OT we played some clutch ball and held on to win, though if Ben Wallace hits that FT we lose.

The second game we just blew them out. I think that was a big motivation game for Gilbert, as he said he wanted to show Flip Saunders why he should have played him more than 10 minutes. I doubt Gil can show up like that every game in a 7 game series. Once, maybe twice, but thats not enough in the playoffs.

But hey, we have to get past Round 1 first. It isn't even a given that we play the Cavs, we could easily end up playing the Nets or even the Heat.

Mason beat Uconn...anything is possible.

I know for Uconn it was just one loss....but we have a chance. I will live with that.

Arenas, AJ and Caron are a GREAT nucleus that would compliment a legit PF or C nicely. We just need to FIND ONE.

Go Wizards!

I got my playoff tickets already and im pumped.

Speaking of the "Big 3" anyone think it could become a big 4 considering AD has stepped up his play as of late, and look at the box score last night.

All 4 were in double digits including 17 from AD. I think the play of AD and Butler is crucial in the last two games, and then determines how far we go in the playoffs.

I don't know what was better last night. Beating the Cavs to stay in the # 5 slot or knocking the 76'ers out of the playoffs! **** them!

Got my tix to the 1st home playoff game. :D Hope it's vs. the Cavs.

I would love for the Wiz to upset the Cavs in the playoffs and make David Stern pissed that one of his "chosen few" got bounced out of the playoffs by Gilbert "The Red-Headed Stepchild" Arenas.

I feel like the Wiz will cause Lebron and them a lot of trouble, especially if they can keep rebounding the way they did last night. Haywood has been playing a lot better, maybe his back issues were for real, but him dunking on Nocioni in the-worst-game-ever Friday night was a nice sign. AD coming off the bench and providing double-figure scoring as well as great on-the-ball defense, ball-protection and aggressiveness is something the bench had been missing last year. Juan provided the scoring, and a few steals, but not much else.

If Jamison can get hot again, I see the wiz stealing one in Cleveland, a pair of blowouts in DC and another nail-biter in Cleveland. The refs will be giving Lebron many a break, but he is coming off of a sprained ankle and I feel like throwing guys like Jeffries and Caron his way has deterred him slightly.

LETS DO THIS

Daniels isn't good enough or even good enough on a consistent basis to put him in with the big 3. His horrible perimeter shooting is a huge deficiency to his game.

This next game against the Bucks is HUGE. There's an enormous difference between playing the first 3 seeds in the East and playing the Cavs.

I've been on vacation, but of course I've been following the Wizards. Few tough games in that bad stretch, capped by that loss to the Bulls where we could not stop Gordon. I'd like to congratulate the Wiz again for achieving exactly what I expected despite the loss of Larry Hughes. ITS PLAYOFF TIME!!!

Am I crazy for thinking we'll be playing Miami in the ECF? I just can't shake it.
