I'm sure a debating dookie would try to define "recent" as the past 12 months, though.

Then they'd have a weak case based on a very convenient definition of "recent," relevant only for basketball. Which is more than likely the only dook sport your typical dook alum supports.

Also, there's such an incredible wealth of information out there about the various dook scandals, blunders and general asshattitude, I get the impression they're tired of trying to fend it off. So instead they play the high-and-mighty condescending angle, inadvertently reinforcing the prevailing stereotypes of dook grads.

My fault, your right, I did skip over the consistently part. Temple was pretty close until their demotion. Syracuse is heading that way (Temple's last Div 1 win was against them). When was their last winning year? Duke had alot harder schedule than Syracuse last year and going forward. They're several Big East teams in the same neiborhood as Duke these days so things could be looking up for them, maybe even crack the top 100.:laugh:
