It's kind of peaceful around here and rather enjoyable. Not that I want to interrupt the ceasefire, but this one is too good. Don't worry, I know our esteemed WVU colleagues here aren't this bad, or I hope at least.

I see no problem, it is a simple recognition of good vs evil...I have

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
tought my kids to recognize it as well. My little boy is 5 now but when he was as young as one year old, we would show him flash cards, one with a VT and the devil on it and other with an angel. Now, everytime he sees a VT, he will say, "stay away from that daddy." It can get you in trouble though, one time at a Walmart here in the Richmond area, I lost track of him for a short time and found him when I heard him saying "yuck", I found him thowing VT hats on the floor and stomping on them. I loved his entusiasm but didn't want to pay a dime for those hats. Luckily we got out without having to do that. Our kids have a right to know right from wrong, good from evil. I personally think you are doing just fine.

I hope everyone who meets me knows I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, a good husband and father and a WV Mountaineer.

Sad.

For all my revulsion of the ruination dook has brought upon the college basketball scene, I would never mess around with my own kid's upbringing like that.

Sports are supposed to be for entertainment. This guy probably thinks his kid's behavior is entertaining. I'm glad my father's teaching didn't lead me to stomp on Cowboys hats. That's a poor lesson, even if the kid is ostensibly too young to remember. Kids remember those things.

Of course, as an adult it seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. ;)

Every fanbase has some of these guys, though.

(I guarantee you he's not a big basketball fan.)

I have an acquaintance that is a Coke delivery guy, and has essentially done the same thing to his kids as the above, except with Pepsi products as the bad one. Similarly, they think it's a riot. I think it's questionable.
