I was told he has 8 credits first semester, and 0 at nassau, so he still has some work to do. I hope he gets his :pooh: straight, he could be a nasty linebacker.

Gwaltney as a LB for WVU? (http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=100238)

Nice find, Diggs.

Jesus, Gwaltney doesn't get it...

"But the bad news came last week, as it was reported that Gwaltney left Nassau Community College due to academics."

Coach Rod is on the record saying that Gwaltney's academics have to be right for him to even have a chance to WALK ON to WVU.

If he's still pulling the same crap at Nassau Freaking Community College that he was pulling in Morgantown, then good riddance to his whiny ass. :2cents:

Agreed. He seems to enjoy pissing away his future. I like how he said playing at linebacker would be his "ticket" to the NFL. Psssst... Jason, you ain't in high school anymore homie. You gotta work for ishh now, no more handing it to ya on a silver platter. I wonder if Scooter will turn into a force on the D-Line. Whodathunkit that his half-bro would have a better chance at turning into a star at WVU.

Yeah, sounds like he's talking **** and not going to class- sound familiar?

I'm all about the guy getting a second chance if he works for it. After all, it's not like he broke any laws or did anything other than miss class/practice. But it sounds to me like he hasn't changed a bit.

Keep him as far away from my football team as possible, I say.

Im with both of you.

He gets his :pooh: in order? Come on back Jason. I'd be excited as hell to have him back, he's a great athlete, i bet someone that is 6'2 230 and runs a 4.5 could be a NASTY linebacker. NASTY.

If he doesnt make the grade? Thats too bad. WVU seems to build good LB's out of nothing. Kyle Kaden (?), Wiley, McLee. Every year its someone new. We'd be fine w/o Gwaltney.

Though i would like to get some use out of that #14 jersey I bought. :)
