I sponsor the number one Halo team in the world (http://www.nba.com/news/mediablog2006_southeast.html)
Gotta love Arenas. I love his statement about wanting to become a defensive player this year.
I guess this thing will be updated everyday. Sounds like everyone is on board for trying to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals this year. I can believe it. We have depth baby. :applause:

Yep, Gilbert is the man. I really think his D will improve. It's nice to see him wanting to take on the challenge of guarding the other team's top perimeter player. And I'm glad we have Caron. It will be a much easier start for Caron this year with a year under his belt in Eddie's offense. Can't wait for the season to start; my tickets from the mail already arrived and I'm psyched.

I'm so excited for so many things - but most of all I'm excited to see Caron become the player people thought he would become out of Uconn - and I think Jarvis will finally be okay.
It sounds, with Jarvis' injury that it was more of a mismanagement of the first injury, than something that will keep happening - that fact and the fact that he had never missed a game HS/College before that cracked kneecap is all good. Kneecap much better than ligament stuff.
Caron is gonna blow up this year, people are gonna take notice of the Wiz.
And Gil... well I have no idea - who knows how good this cat can be?

Gil can be the best G in the league for years to come if he becomes a defensive power and learns to pass more.
BTW what is the lineup going to be this year?

^ The lineup most likely imo will look like this:
Gil
Hayes
Caron
Jamison
Haywood

Didn't know where to post this, but it looks like according to Eddie, that Stevenson will be our starting 2 guard.
Coach Eddie Jordan said he has settled on a five-man rotation of guards Gilbert Arenas (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3540) and DeShawn Stevenson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3422), forwards Caron Butler (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3608) and Antawn Jamison (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3247), and either Brendan Haywood (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3532) or Etan Thomas (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3411) at center.

Nice. Good to see Stevenson starting. It will be interesting to see who wins the battle for the starting center spot.

I am glad to see DSS as the 2 and not AD....I would love to see Blatche develop into a good starting C by midseason....
