Good to see we won the first quarter(where I assume the starters played)and then played even in all other quarters(where I assume the reserves played).

Heard Stevenson and Hayes played well too.

Stevenson had 4 PF's and 4 TO's....I have a feeling that is going to be a weak point for us this year....until our young guys get more seasoned....Blatche and Lang mirrored each other.....They both are at about the same place development-wise.... That is good for us....Maybe Lang will stick and PJR will not....Hall wont.

***Caron was just sitting out, Jordan said 1 starter will rest each of the remaining Preseason games***

Blatche had a better game than 2nd overall pick Tyrus Thomas too, Clathel.

Blatche's 2 made field goals were consecutive, one on a nice strong drive and one with a long pull up jumper.
5 rebounds and a blocked shot - much better than his first outing.

Deshawn Stevenson had 1 PF and 1 TO, not 4 Clathel.

4 TOs were from Donnel against the premier (supposedly) defensive team in the NBA isn't bad either. It is hard to tell what TOs are really unless you see the game, which I didn't. Taylor lead the team in attempted shots too, so I'm figuring he was the main ball handler and scoring option. Twice the opportunities for TOs.

Lang could be solid, his problem has always been discipline with his weight, when its down he was an all-NBDL player, when its up he's just a fat kid who should be in college instead of the NBA-it is amazing that a kid only 2 years out of HS could have bounced around like he has already (all hail the age limit).

I would like to see Lang make the team, Ivan Carter thinks that if the Wiz don't think Ramos will be in the rotation this year they will let him go to a team where he could start or battle for a rotation job..... maybe a trade? That would be nice to get a 2nd back or something for him - there is still plenty of buzz on him potential wise. Since the Wiz don't even have room for Pecherov, I don't see them making room for Ramos either - he is definately in the dog house it seems like.
http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/james_lang.jpg James "Deal-A-Meal" Lang, that is a big boy.
The next Chocolate Thunder? He's above Ramos it seems like... or is Ramos about to be traded?

Blatche is way beyond James Lang development wise, I don't know where you get that idea from. Blatche is fighting to be in the rotation, Lang is fighting to be in the league. Blatche was the NBDL player of the week 2 of the 3 weeks he was down there, Lang was 2nd team all NBDL, but never made player of the week and had much worse numbers than PJ Ramos did.

That game seems to be mostly the Bulls 1st stringers against our bench, so the results from the whole team, and individuals like Blatche - are very encouraging. I wish I could see tape of the game.

clathel can't even get his negative nancy stats right when he is cursing his team.
Jarvis continues to impress!

Overheard by Ivan Carter pre-game:

Overheard during warmups: Andray Blatche making a three-pointer and then telling me: "I'm going redeem myself tonight." Blatche was 0-5 with 5 turnovers in Monday's game against Toronto

Well its not summerleague anymore folks, but I just knew he couldn't be nearly as bad as he seemed in that first game.

Seeing him handle the ball down the court with that unbelievably lanky frame is bizarre, straight up. Could we be seeing a revolution in the forward position?

He reminds me of a young Scottie Pippen with better handles. And taller. Plus he can flashy pass like point at times.

Most of all I just like the heart and concentration he shows on the court - most of his TOs he had in the summer league was when he was trying to run the offense from the point, so those I'm not that concerned with - I doubt Eddie will be putting Andray in too many positions where he is being guarded by Eric Snow while running the offense - this year.

I am confidant Andray could play a pick-and-pop power forward position right now, I don't think he can handle 2ndary or 3rd ballhandling duties though - yet.

I believe in you Andray. Just hang out with the big three and absorb up all the knowledge!
