What the heck happened to the Terps basketball team last night? That's not exactly a good omen when the patsies you play in the preseason beat you.

Those patsies were an NBDL team. Meaning, they are professional, minor league basketball players who starred at their respective colleges. If you didnt recognize some of those names last night, you havent watched much basketball over the past 6 years.

Aren't those the same teams we usually crush in preseason? I know one of the guys played for VA, but come on. To put some perspective on it, it the the first loss against this type of team since 1994.

Seriously, these aren't the name players from the teams we play every year. Usually the teams we play against in the ACC have players that go on to play in the NBA. THese guys are the guys hoping to be roll players. Do you mean to tell me that a top 20 program shouldn't be able to beat a minor league basketball team? Despite what you say, losing by 9 to this team does not bode well for us this season.

so far they look pretty poor against american too.... does not bode well.
