Derrick Harvey, the top DE recruit in the nation, is announcing today.
Prior to this week, most accounts had him a Maryland lean, but my gut says he will announce he's going to Florida later today.
WR Derrick MacPearson will also chose between Maryland and Florida today.

Any word on Harvey? I know he's set to announce between 4 and 5 on ESPN news, but I'm here at work w/o access to that channel.

McPhearson said he needs another day to decide.
Harvey's loss is big, but MD will be fine. The Terps are loaded with solid DE recruits, including Harvey's teammate, George Covington, who will actually probably be better immediately than Harvey will be, as Harvey is way too light at 225.
The biggest thing about losing Harvey is that Maryland really needs his teammate next year, WR Derrick Williams, who is probably the top player in the 2005 class.
