what are your general predictions for the tournament, who do you think will be the cinderall this year?

Need to see wht the selection committee does before I can say. So much of what happens stems from match-ups and location. For example, 3rd-seeded Syracuse essentially getting to play home games in the regionals last year played a huge part in them defeating Oklahoma to get to the Final Four.

yeah thats true, we can come back to this thread sunday night. i just want to have people post their general predictions so we can see who was actually right when its all said and done.

If UMD can get a 7-8 seed and get into a bracket with Gonzaga, Pitt, or St. Joes I think they can pull of a 2nd round upset.

Gary Williams has done an amazing jog at Maryland. Im a Duke fan 'puts up his sheilds and prepares for the stones'. But i respect all the ACC teams and wish them well till they play each other.
