Out-freaking-standing!! I said at the beginning of the season that I expected this team to be much better by tournament time, but I had no idea they could knock off the top three seeds in a row. These youngsters have really grown up over the past few weeks and developed some character :thumbsup:

I guess they're off the bubble now, eh? :laugh:

I can't remember the last time I was this happy. Oh yeah it was when UMd won the national championship. This is going to be a wonderful day. Maryland wins the ACC tourney. And in about 3 hours the Undertaker will rise again @ Wrestlemania XX. :40oz:

I must confess. I watched most of the game, but when they were down by 12 with 4 minutes left, I went outside. :doh:

I come back in an hour later, and to my happy surprise, saw the final score. They are rounding into form at the perfect time, and could be deadly in the tourney. Not bad for a team that was on the bubble recently.

I was driving through the mountains of PA and WV and was getting intermitant AM stations that were carrying the game I finally lost the signal with Maryland down by 12 in the second half and when I finally got it back they had won in overtime...heck yeah!!!!!!

riots are stupid and I most certainly did not participate. I can understand running around in excitement but destruction is just stupid. I will never understand the point of it, and I've been at Maryland for the last four years, although I have not been on campus for all the riots since I have traveled to attend some of those great wins.

As for the seeding, great bracket for MD. Syracuse and the 2-3 zone could pose a challenge, but a game I still like match-up wise. I then think Maryland has an excellent shot of beating Stanford.

You know, I doesn't get much better then to beat Duke in the ACC Championship.
