I love the Terps and especially love the way they played this weekend. If they didnt have the tendancie to fall apart they could go all the way, I think they are a sweet 16 team, maybe abig maybe an elite 8 team we will see.:

I could see them in a re-match with NCST in the elite eight. That is of course they continue to play the way they have been lately.

if they continue the way they have been playing, then there is no doubt we win it all. the no 1,2 and 3 acc teams are a step up from anyone else in the country. it would be a piece of cake until we play anohter acc team. they only problem is that i doubt we will be able to continue our play at such a high level

I think they lose to Stanford or UConn. But it should be a good run regardless.

I filled out 2 brackets...one where they make the eight by beating Stanford, and then one where they lose to Stanford. It's really close to call.

However, if they do get by Stanford they have a decent shot of shocking UCONN....as a CT resident I have seen the Huskies flat out sleep through some of their more important games this year. And Okfors health will always be an issue...

The Terps do have a fighting chance against Stanford. They are athletic enough and will have the time to prepare for Stanford's offensive sets. Smith, Garrison and Fofana will really have to bang down low and bang with Justin Davis and Leonard Little. If Maryland has a good shooting night they can certainly beat Stanford. Anything could happen in the first two games of the tourney though.

I have them beating Stanford. I think the PAC-10 is a weak conference.

I have them losing to UConn. The biggest test, though, may this this first game against UTEP. They are playing at altitude in Denver and that may wear them down quicker. UTEP is a little more used to playing this high up.

should be more but you can tell they are tired but strawberry is keeping them in the game despite all of the freethrows they have missed
