They do better when they have a lower seed. They should just play bad on purpose during the regular season and then win their tournament championship. It could work.

They are never really average. Either waaaay underrated when they are a 9-13 seed and make the sweet 16, or scare the heck out of Arizona like they did last year, or waaaaaaay overrated like this year, and 3 years ago when they were complaining that they were only a 5, and got bumped in the first round by a 12.
