A Solid Stack Trade that benifit everyone

1) Jerry Stackhouse


We get:
1) George Lynch
2) David Wesley


Lynch and Wesley are tough hard-nosed vets who will bring defense and desire to the Wizards. Wesley is a great spot-up shooter and he can play point or shooting guard. Lynch is a very good defensive player who hits the open jump shot.

ok... so we trade a proven star for two role players who will not even start here. wesley is a decent starter but do not dare tell me that he is an upgrade over hughes. there is no chance wesley will start over hughes. hughes is better than wesley in every stat except assists.

also dont tell me that lynch will start over jarvis hayes. jarvis is better than or comparable in every stat. both wesley and lynch are in their mid-30s. stackhouse is still 29. how would this help us? backups dont take teams to championships.

the hornets are great because they have 2 all-star quality players in baron davis and mashburn. plus they hav one of the east's top 3 front courts in jamal magloire and pj brown. the hornets would do equally well without lynch at least. i will admit wesley makes somewhat of a difference.

the hornets would be interested in upgrading at SG because wesley is approaching the end of his playing days and the hornets are moving to the west where they need more potent scorers. if we trade with the hornets, i would trade stack and l8ner for wesley and mcgloire but we all noe that is not goin to happen.

or even better, package stack, l8ner, and our 1st rounder for jamal magloire and jamal mashburn. if that somehow happens, we will have a nice starting lineup for next year.
