Anyone heading down to Tech this weekend for the Spring game?
More importantly does anyone know how bad the Red Carpet Inn on South Main is? Just booked two nights and now I'm hearing bad things.

I might just head down to VT to see this game, and by head down I mean walk half a mile to Lane Stadium.
It really depends on what I'm doing tomorrow.

I talked a few players after the spring game.
A few thoughts
Marcus looked real good. Hopefully he doesn't go to jail
Brandon Pace should be the kicker
This team has very raw, young talent. Its definitley going to be a learning year for a lot of guys.
George Bell is going to be a beast.
My prediction after this game is another 8-5 season

Maryland had 18,250 people at the spring game....it would have been 118,251 if there wasnt a draft party at fedex.

Yes because obviously not having a football team is better than having one that played in a bowl game and was ranked most of the season.

Good news for Virginia Tech is they now have 2 players from my high school team Jeremy Gilchrist and Deveon Simmons, both will be starting soon especially Deveon when he gets there. The third player from my school a rising junior will probably end up going there too.
Also the player they got from Westfield High, WR Eddie Royal is going to be a great player, we lost to his team in the state championship, look out for him.
