Who do you forsee the Zards picking in the draft or who do you see fitting in best with the team?

Emeka Okafor- the best college player
Shaun Livingston who actually is picked by the wizards in a mock draft ( www.nbadraft.net )
Dwight Howard- the best high schooler
Loul Deng- a good player but came from duke

Looks like Livingston commited to duke...

All I have to say is no f'n HS'ers! We need playmakers now! Were moving into a weaker conference and we should be able to compete for PLAYOFFS

I want to know why we get high picks when there is a weak draft (Kwame) and lower picks in better drafts (hayes, jeffries). There is not a player who can contribute right away and has tons of potential. i think okafor makes the most sense if we get #1 or we could try to trade

lvingston seems like he could be something special, but we just got arenas and have lots of guards...the last time we picked like that we drafted rasheed and ended up losing him, c web and big ben wallace not too much longer

with #1 we need okeafor. but if we get a mid lottery pick like we always do, i say we go jameer nelson. he is the best pg in the country and could be an instant impact player. the wiz don't have a real PG. the sooner we realize that gilbert is not, the better off we are. nelson could run our offense, move gilbert to the 2 his natural position, and hughs can play the 3. keep blake, dixon and hayes to back up the backcourt and trade stack.

Okafor seems a little shaky considering his recent back problems, not a good sign when a 22-year old has back problems

I think we need a foreigner. The Wizards must be the only team in the nba not to have one.

If we get a late Lottery pick I would not be dissapointed if we got Ivan Chiriaev a 7-1, 245 SF/SG from Canada. He put on 25 Lbs. of Muscle over the offseason and could be the next dirk.. http://www.nbadraft.net/profiles/ivanchiriaev.asp

And hey, theres alway Jamar Smith.

Only the top 3 picks are determined by the draft lottery, so the lowest they could possibly fall is to the 7 pick, since the Bobcats are locked in at the 4 spot. The likelihood of 3 teams jumping the Wiz is very, very small though.

the wizturds will draft whoever has the best chance of being a bust.

le curse will never end i fear...

i do hope they can get okafor. i saw howard at the cap classic and that kid has mad game, but i can't imagine the wiz taking another high schooler after the kwame fiasco.

Livingston declared but didn't sign an agent. The HS'ers are getting smarter now. Three have signed letters of intent as well didn't sign with an agent so the have their options open.

I totally agree with you. Okafor and Howard are the two best players in the draft. IMO if they are not there when the Wizards pick, then they should trade it. They might as well get a proven commodity instead on picking another potential bust.

If we can't get Okafor, i say we need a true PG. A scoring PG like Tony Parker. Jameer Nelson comes to mind or the PG outta Uconn.

There are a lot of current Duke players who are good. None of them are great. Boozer is hot because everybody keys on James.

However, Deng was only there a year. He hasn't been tainted by the Duke style of waiting for fouls....just kidding. I would be happy if the Bullets drafted him. Livingston will go pro also....he'll be a lottery pick.

We should have an NBA mock draft. It'll be easy with only 2 rounds.

Loul Deng or Andres Bedriens
