Although this draft lacks superstardom, it does not lack depth. in the second round, there are two players i want to get who would be cheaper replacements for backup veterans like butler. these guys are jaime lloreda (PF) and kevin martin (SG) .

from draft reports kevin martin has a lot of potential, some think he could be the best SG from this draft. he is a really good scorer especially from the 3 pt line plus he is a good defender. what may be bringing him down is that he is from western carolina. ohio state wanted him to transfer to them but he didnt want to because he wuz in love with western carolina. this shows me he is very loyal. he could serve as the main SG backup to hughes, replacing juan dixon. according to hoop hype, i think, he had a 37-38 inch vertical leap which i think is about the same as the high schooler who can jump.

according to hoops hype, lloreda is a very very solid player. one of the only things that is bad about him is that he doesnt have star potential. in my opinion he could replace baxter, who is not that good.

Remember guys sometimes it is role players that can get teams to the championship.

The Wizards do not want Lloreda. Trust me, he was a talented player at LSU but he is a major headcase. He quit near the end of the season because of "unidentified reasons" and ended up screwing over the LSU basketball program by doing so. They did awful once he quit and missed out on an Ncaa Tournament bid. I don't want that sob on the Wizards, he is all about the money.

....But I do want Martin to replace Dixon, who will probably be taken in the expansion draft.
