The Wizards have been a laughing stock of the NBA for the past 15 years because of moves like these.

Big Ben is clearly the worst move.

In all fairness though there are numerous other assanine/ idiotic / moronic moves (especially in the draft) they have made over the years.

Mel Turpin?
Tommy Hammonds?
LaBradford Smith?
Kenny Green?

I can't beleive I didn't have nightmares when I was a kid...

Have to say Webber trade simply b/c the kind of impact player he is and how much he loved being a wizard/bullet. The Ben Wallace trade is a close 2nd

I think Ben Wallace is the only real answer. He would have given us the Center we have soooo dearly lacked. Webber is a top talent but his injury problems have decreased his value. Rip was also a rough trade, but we have adequately been able to fill his role via Hughes, Hayes and Gil. We have never been able to find an adequate replacement for Big Ben.:anon:

Id have to say the Rip for Jerry or the Chris for Mitch trades simply for how expensive the players we got are and how ineffective they were(dead wieght) Also the players we traded in these deals were proven commodities with us and(Ben was good but noone could predict he would have been this good not even the Magic) and we essentially trades them in their prime for players closer to the downside of their career.

If he was such a great talent evaluator, how come he traded four future stars for a load of nothing?

I would have to say the Big Ben trade was the worst one. At least the Wizards got somebody talented in the other deals. Ike Austin has no talent whatsoever.
