The top 4 is prolly goin to be Okeafor, Howard, Deng, and Livingston leaving us with the "next tier" of players. I believe that Josh Smith, Andre Iguodala, and Andris Biedrins are the guys that we should consider here. I believe that if we can pull off a predraft trade, clearing us of one of our shooting guards and landing us a small forward or a center that iguodala should be our choice. CBS sportsline has stated that if he can improve on his jump shot he can be an all-star. After seeing the Pistons winning the championship, teams are going back to the fundamentals of defense. That means we need a defensive player. That is Iguodala.

Iguodala is easily ready to be our starting shooting guard. He would be a really nice option opposite Arenas and can split ballhandling duties with arenas. The report on Iguodala is that he has a good handle, good rebounder, good ball thief, can be a PG, SG, or SF. According to many scouting reports the only knock on him is his jump shot. CBS sportsline said there is a chance that the bobcats could take stack today bcause of his UNC roots and he has a manageable salary. I think we may also end up dealing Hughes because he has tons of trade value. He is a 19 ppg scorer who was paid a bargain 5 mil last season. It seems that the Pacers have become really disenchanted with Ron Artest. I believe taht the Pacers would accept a Ron Artest and Scot Pollard-for-Laettner and Hughes swap. Laettner and Pollard would clear 11 mil of the pacers cap next year. I think the Pacers would be quite interested in acquiring at least one of the elite SGs from the 2005 FA class. They can also easily move Harrington into the starting spot and get bender some playing time like they want. The Pacers have stated that they are in need of a big man and a perimeter threat. I think the Pacers would love to have a starting lineup of:

PG- Tinsley, SG- Hughes, SF-Harrington, PF- JO, C- Jeff Foster

Laettner would probably be their main backup at PF/C. After all, he is only one year removed from a stellar season. The pacers would be amenable to trading Pollard because he has a big salary at 6 mil a season for two more years. Plus they use him only sparingly.

If we land Okur to play at a little above the mid-level exception then all the better. We would in fact be pretty deep at every position.

We could have a starting lineup of:
PG- arenas, SG- iguodala, SF- artest, PF- kwame, C- okur. Our backups could be: at front court: Pollard, Jeffries, Haywood, Baxter; backcourt: blake, dixon, hayes, butler, whitney. This type of lineup would give us a pretty damn tough defensive team especially at the backcourt. We could potentially take over games with our defense.

Thats a nice thought Method Man and something I would love to see come true, however there is no possible way that Ron Artest will be sent packing for essentially Larry Hughes. Ron plays better defense, shoots better and is coming off an All-Star season. Larry Hughes will never have the same trade value as Ron Artest. For Larry Hughes to be an effective Scorer he must be the only legitimate offensive option on the court. He did most of his damage last year when Arenas went down and Whackhouse was still out. I dont see Larry Bird giving Ron Artest up for so little in return.
I do however like your idea of Bringing Okur into our Frontcourt. It seems that if Rasheed resigns with the Pistons that Okur minutes will still be limited in the motor city and possibly even more with the development of Darko.
Scenario 1- near impossible
Scenario 2- quite intriguing

Livingston is not going 4, the clippers don't want a HS'er
