Isn't he potentially the best scorer in the draft and one of the best players. I don't agree that the Cliippers want Livingston so that leaves Harris and Livingston at #5 for us.

The Wiz would be left with a backcourt too small. Every night, whoever is guarding the opposing teams shooting guard would be looking at substantial height disadvantage.

So depressing - lez boulez will undoubtedly draft another 2 guard/SF so that they can start 5 players who are average shooters and are all under 6'7 - Arenas, Stackhouse, Hayes, Hughes, Dixon, Jeffries (i know he is over 6'7).
I don't think there is a remedy to the Wiz's woes in this draft, but Childress is certainly not the answer.

Drafting Harris would be a repeat of last seasons free-agent market shopping that we did in that Harris brings nothing to the table that Gilbert doesnt and Gilbert has already proven that he can make it happen in the league...Childress may not be the answer is right...I think that this draft pool appears so slim from an initial glance that no one after the firt 4 picks seems to provide any kind of definate help at least in the areas we need. Ben Gordon, great player but we don't need him. Childress not worth the 5th pick. Josh Smith, trumendous upside but no proven ability outside of leaping to the moon. I do believe that the Zards are going to select Igoudala but I am not sure he's worth that high a pick...Two words: TRADE DOWN

How about drafting someone who can actually play defense and get rebounds?

according to a lot of reports whereever i read, devin harris has gotten raped by everyone. there was a recent article that stated he got owned by an unknown PG from northwestern. it is also common knowledge that he got owned by roko ukic in predraft workouts.

if we can trade some of the depth at SG/SF for big men then i really would like to see the zards draft iguodala. the man is everything but a guy who can take jump shots. i think he is going to average 6 rpg , 5 apg, and 2 spg as a shooting guard which would be remarkable. every draft report states he makes the ppl around him better. none of our current SG/SFs possess that essential princeton offense quality.

The team doesn't need another player who can play either shooting guard or small forward, so there is no point in drafting him.

I would have to agree here. I would either take the potentially game-changing PG (livingston) or perhaps trade down for more size (Biedrins). We could pick up a future 1st rounder or even a post-guy. There were rumors that the Sixers were looking to trade with the Bulls although I don't believe what was rumored (76ers #9 pick + Dalembert for the Bulls #3 and Chandler). Dalembert would be great to get, although I believe the 76ers won't trade him.

The only player that I would want to draft at #5 is Livingston....anyone other than that will complicate our plans....and he provides instant match-up problems plus he won't be looking for his shot a whole lot and so will be able to distribute the ball all over.
