Team Name

Is it too early to start discussing a team name? I think "Senators" is an insult, since DC doesn't actually have any of its own Senators.

How about the "Greys". It pays tribute to the Negro League team that used to play there decades ago.

Nationals sounds best, Senators is a dumb name IMO. Might as well call them the Washington Governors or Washington Vice Presidents

I remember the Senators from when I was a kid. It would be great to get them back! Somehow, it wouldn't seem like our team unless they're named the Senators. We'll see.

I could get used to the Greys, but my preference is the Senators.

you see the name Redskins is seen as a racist name

so it would be only fitting that they name the baseball team a racist term for the white man
