No telling what this team could do. He seems to be playing quite well with 16 points so far and considering they are tied with the Griz 58-58 as I type this is pretty impressive. Jamison has 18. Damn, the potential on this team is scary. I can't see the game caus Im down here in Baton Rouge. How are the Wiz looking?

Yea! I'm catching the game now and Hayes,Dixon and Jamison are lighting the Griz up after being down by like 16 pts. in the 2nd.

Still alot of turnovers, but these guys can run the floor. And that dude Ruffin and blocking and snatching every rebound.

So happy that others are watching and posting. This is unbelievable!

We just outscored them 32-11 in the 3rd quarter. The confidence is unreal! Everyone is contributing and Jamison looks awesome. Dixon just hit another 3!

79-63...Wiz........

Insane. Hope the refs dont try to screw us over and foul out Jamison.

If these guys hang on to win. This will be a definite motivator for the rest of the season. the skeleton crew beating up on a playoff caliber griz team. This is refreshing, knowing Jamison is the real deal. And Dixon is shooting lights out, I guess after not being signed, has something to prove all over again.

These guys are blowing it. But Ruffin is still blocking everything. These guys need to dig deep down and pulled this one out. It would definitely motivate the entire team.

Im tired just watching. Those guys are exhausted on the court. Incredible effort, incredible performances from everyone.

This is maddening! The refs won't blow the whistle on the Griz and the Wiz are playing heroic ball. These guys are playing their hearts out.

Does this swift guy for Memphis do anything but dunk?

HELL YEAH! This game made my day, without Brown, Haywood, Thomas, Arenas, and Hughes..and they still beat one of the top 5 teams in the dominant West. Holy ****! Is it too premature to consider this team a playoff team in the East? I know it is only 1 game, but if they can win on the road against one of the better teams in the NBA, without 4 of their starters..well..damn.

Guys, the Grizzlies won 50 games last year, and Hubie was the coach of the year. We just came into their house without:

Brendan Haywood
Etan Thomas
Kwame Brown
Gilbert Arenas
Larry Hughes
Anthony Peeler
Steve Blake

and whipped them. Wow.

YES....

Go Wiz...with a depleted and I mean depleted roster.

This is great. Jamisons gonna cause problems opening up things for other players. ow! if only Kwame could do the same. The wiz will be something tio deal with.

Five huge games. Jamison, Dixon, Ruffin, Hayes, Profit all came up huge. And Jeffries, who I dont really like, was key bringing the ball up the court, playing d on Gasol, and initiating the offense in the 4th quarter.

We'll see if these are the Wizards of old when they play the Bobcats and how they respond after this win.

The Wiz actually resemble a real NBA team this year. All of our starting 5 are very respectable and we even have some guys on the bench that are good.

If you look at good teams like the Kings they have guys like Bobby Jackson on the bench, well we are starting to get that kind of depth.

Kwame really came along last year and I expect big things this year. Jamison of course I love (GO HEELS), Hayes is going to be a beast, he can do it all. Arenas is just down right talented, still very young but one of the most talented player in the league, Hughes is also a very talented player. Then we got role players like Peeler and Walker, and Ruffin was nasty tonight on the glass.

I still stand by my opinion that Jeffries is a wasted pick though.

But Ernie Grunfeld has done a terrific job in just his 2nd year IMO. He's been awesome. Cleaning up Jordan's mess and getting the kind of guys on this team that makes it look like they could at least be in the hunt for the playoffs this year.

They better not get too over confident. I believe it will be Charlotte's first game, so they'll be pumped.

Once the Wiz start getting some respect from the officials they'll make some real noise.

We may have something with this team, what a gutsy performance...

We had guys play major minutes tonight and they were able to get in some major grooves. Dixon and Jamison are the 2 main benefactors. This team played great together tonight and were able to develop quite a chemistry.

What concerns me is that when Arenas and Hughes come back tomorrow, they might spoil the kind of unselfish ball that was displayed tonight. The Wiz played some blue-collar ball tonight and that is not what we as Wiz fans are used too.

I agree with you there skinned. And actually during the game I thought the same thing. About when the rest of the guys come back would it mess up the chemistry and ball distribution that was shown tonite. Will there be enough balls to go round foe Arenas,Gilbert,Jamison and whom ever else enters the game like a Dixon.

In order for these guys to win consistently against better teams. Everyones gonna have to contribute and someone must step up on any given nite like Dixon did today.

It's like me playing NBA Live 2005. I made the playoff and actually won the southeast division. What I found was getting every player involved and running teams off the court with the bench players and the quickness this team has in it's players.

It's like what Hubie said last year about the wiz. That they can be dangerous when they run the floor. And with Jamison instead of Stackhouse and letting Gilbert and Hughes loose. This team can run with the best of them as shown tonite and can put up some points. But the down fall the wizards may encounter this year is toughness. They can score points and run the floor. But the defense on this team must improve along with eleviating the turnovers. If this happens. The wizards will make the playoffs.

I never expected them to win this game. Good job by everyone who played, even Jeffries.

Now they better whip the Bobcats even worse. That team shouldn't win 20 games this season.
