With a minimum roster the wizards came back from a 19 point setback to come bcak and win! Jaminson and Dixon looked great, and the team should only get better with Arenas and Hughes. This game shows we have depth. Keep playing hard and wins will come,
Only problem center, who will face shaq or anyone else for that matter.Overall I am very happy with the effort!

the Wizards like most teams will use a rotation at center to be effective. Thomas, Haywood, Brown, Ruffin, Walker will all get time inside over the course of the season.
you can win 50 games in the East and not have an all-star player at center. not saying that this team will win 50.
but this team should be much improved.
hiring Grunfeld was the best move this team has made in 20 years. he engineered the deal to bring a difference maker in Jamison to the club and at a reasonable price.
the moves for Ruffin and Walker to provide some additional toughness and spare fouls in the frontcourt also will be big over an 80 game season.
Jamison, Arenas and Hughes will get their points.
what will make a huge difference will be the development of players like Hayes, Haywood and Dixon, guys that are currently under the radar around the NBA.
the Wizards can sneak up on teams with these players putting out this kind of effort on a regular basis.

Saturday we'll have Samaki Walker, Michael Ruffin and P.J. Ramos to face Shaq. It could get ugly Saturday. When everyone is back they'll have Haywood, Thomas and Kwame to rotate on him. Not too bad.

Agree 100%. He is THE difference maker within the franchise...
