Figured I would start a game thread...

Wiz down 10-9, not getting many calls early on it seems, but the refs are letting them play. Ruffin has gotten hammered a few times already.

Anybody else notice how ridiculous Larry Hughes looks out there? He is a selfish ballhog! The guy just keeps hucking up bricks and is now over 0-5 from the floor.

They're certainly letting them play so far.

Now Hughes is 0-2 at the line as well and just picked up a foul reaching in

We need a Dixon sub please!

Hughes is ruining the offense. He thinks he's Jerry Stackhouse. Please take him out until he gets a clue and just runs the offense. Stop iso-ing and start passing.

23-22 after one. That's fine...the Wiz will start to pull away before halftime.

Yeah, Samaki is garbage. Once Etan, Kwame and Brenda come back, he won't see the court. Ruffin is all about energy though. He just gets it done, period.

The refs are trying to give this one away.

That was some awful officiating...

Some nice play from Juan again. Jamison leading scorer, Hayes with 16 or so.

Thay are looking good so far, hard not to be excited.

I beleive they said this is the Wizards first 2-0 start since '92! :yikes:

Keep in mind what team we beat last night by 14 without Gil and Hughes and who we bet by nine tonight with them.

Project Dixons numbers over 40 mintues and they would be outstanding. I know you cant really do this realiably but its interesting to consider.

Yeah Juan scored all but I believe 2 of his points in the 4th quarter. He was doing so well, that EJ left Hughes on the bench. He is clearly our Bobby Jackson and we re-signed Jeffries over him.

I too am a Juan fan and not a Hughes fan, but we do have to remember that we have only played 2 games and can't all hail Juan as a Bobby Jackson-esque player until he does it consistently.

On the bright side, Juan is 22nd in the league in scoring average at 21.5 per game!

Hey, everyone thaught I was a nut when I said Juan could be a baby Iverson - less the head case part. The only reason you didnt see him play more last year is becuase they play Gil over him. Like I keep saying, we have to many shooters at PG/G and no proven PG, thou I think Blake will prove to be a starting PG. Yeah, bash me now, until it happens, then jump on board.

Im actually liking what I see when Dixon handling the ball. I think he looks great bringing it up and starting the offense. I think may force them to play him more. Dixon is all drive and hard. He has faught for everything has has his whole life. I like his style and smarts as a team player and leader.

We really do have a ton a talent on this team and they are so young still. Tons of upside.
