I was pissed we lost last night, but once you look back on the game, you can't help but feel good. We spent large stretches of time with SFs playing center against a team with Shaquille O'Neal and almost came away with the victory (for those who didnt watch the game, the final score is NOT indicative of the closeness of the game, it was tied at 102 with 2 minutes left).

Gilbert needs to learn to play defense, and Hughes still needs to learn what it is to be a team player, but man do we have weapons.

Jamison is the real deal. You add Arenas, Hughes, contributions from Hayes and Dixon, and once Kwame and even Brenda get back, look out! This is a team that has broken 100 points in all three games this year while missing significant portions of their roster. Teams are going to be afraid to play us. Period.

I agree with everything. When We get back to full speed and have Kwame - Etan - Jamison - Hughes - Gilbert with Haywood , Ruffin, Dixon, Hayes, Blake off the bench! insane!

Playoffs!

I agree completely. Dare I say, the sky is the limit with this team, especially once they get their big men healthy...

I was about to post something about how well the team looks and how well they're playing. I totally agree this team has some serious weapons. However I see it just a little different. This team reminds a lot of the GS a few years ago (score a lot and get score on more) we really need the presence of a legit big man in the middle. I can't wait to see Haywood this year. Everybody is saying he is the most improved player from last year. Weather that’s just a smoke screen to explain for why they signed him to such a huge contract extension is something I'm very anxious to find out.

Well if Haywood is the real deal then that leave us on one true big man in the middle and with all the fire power we have from the outside and Jamison as our true post player we could win about half our games this season. No joke I said it half and those of you that think this number may be too low please take this into account before you start on me, DEFENSE, defense is huge and our players are a little lazy this most important department of the game. But they are starting to play with a lot of heart both our wins this season is because of their heart.

Don't be surprised if Thomas, Brown, and Blake don't come back before Christmas. My take on Brown is the problem with his foot has greatly weaken his legs and with him gaining almost 40lbs this off season he will struggle with his conditioning and strength this will slow him down almost completely this season and it will be his last in a Wizards uniform, mark my words. Thomas probably has the most serious injury of them all and we might not see anything truly significant his him all season and guess what guys it always happens to us after we sign a guy to a long term deal he gets lost for the season. Stackhouse ring any bells lol

But even with those guys gone and they will probably gone for a long while, we still have enough weapons to be really scary and very exciting. 41-41 no playoffs

Your correct. but be careful though. Because with the additions of your Center and PF's added to the mix and the expectations and radar the organization has on these guys. It could defintely slow down the pace of the game and diminish the 100 pts. games the team has been putting up.

But overall, the teams is looking good without there big men. But these guys still need to learn how to play better defense. but hopefully, guys like dwayne Wade won't be driving the lane like they was against us without our big men.

Ruffin may hold the starting 5-spot if he keeps it up. He's strong as an ox.
