Unreal, 106-100 Wiz with 1:30 left in the game. If the team defense improves, which it should, this team is going to make some noise.

The wiz went from a horrible offense last year to a Dallas type offense this year

Great win tonight 110-105 in OT.
Jamison 26
Arenas 25
Hughes 21
Jeffries 15<--who would've thought
Hayes 14-before fouling out

Did anyone get to see the game? I was stuck looking at CBS.sportsline.com for updates.

Best Game of Jeffries career. He still sucks though.

well these are my thoughts

jamison - what a GREAT pick up for this team.. he hustles game in game out, and his work ethic is rubbing off on the rest of the team

arenas - so much talent, extremely quick first step, if he can get his head straight in the game, he's gonna be an offensive force to be reckoned with.. i dont think i question his physical skills, its his mental lapses..

hughes - not enough passing but he can be clutch.. he's either on fire or cold as ice.. compare him kinda to rod garner.. 50/50.. haha. i dunno, he came up big tonight though, but he never comes off to me as a team player

haywood - improved defense.. he plays like his his size this season, very excited to see what he brings to the table this season

jeffries - i know its just one game but he got great defense.. and showed some offensive game.. maybe he'll prove us all wrong

i cant wait to see this team with etan back.. and kwame back.. there is no doubt that our offensive is potent this season, its just our defense.. with some big bodies to bang in there, we SHOULD be a playoff contending team.. SHOULD be.. after all, we are the wizards.. curse of the boolez

Great win, I was worried they were going to fold in the 4th...

Haywood has turned into a block monster. If Kwame can ever get back, get in shape, and get his game in gear by the second half of the season, they should be able to do a lot of damage.

Only caught the first three quarters of the game and after the disastrous third quarter I'm surprised the Wizards won. That was some of the worst officiating I've seen so far this season. The refs should be ashamed for their officiating in the third. Disgusting.

I felt the same way. The refs were incredibly one-sided in the third quarter, and started giving out technicals because the Wizards actually complained. Did they expect them to take getting screwed lying down?

Anyway, this team is so much different from teams of years past. They actually know how to finish a game. The defense these guys exhibited in overtime was surprising for a longtime wizard fan who's used to horrendous defense.

I don't get all the criticism on Hughes. I thought he made some good passes today, and I could see where he was looking to make a pass at times. Yet if he sees nothing there, he will take the shot. He can create his own shots, so I don't feel the need to complain too much. Besides, I feel some people still view him as our PG. And that isn't his role on this team anymore, I'm sure Eddie has given him the green light to go out there and get points. Especially since we currently don't have a C or PF to make things easier in the scoring department. Kwame really needs to hurry back.
