The Lakers took 30 3-point shots. How is that bad defense?
The uni's were nice. The Bullets definately need to fix their current uni's, maybe switch back to red, white & blue like the Pistons did. And fire Susan O'Malley.

It's bad D when they made around half of them!
I don't want to take anything away from the win because it was a great game for the Wiz...they beat only the second team they played that had a winning record! This goes along way for respect. But, they still need to work on some things...like allowing opposing guards to penetrate and kick-out to guys shooting open 3's....it happened all last night...
Question: Why did EJ not play Kwame or Brendan after the 3rd quarter in favor of Ruffin? Is he that much better on D?

Kwame was in most of the 4th remember that nice block he had and you can tell he is getting close when he jumped over everyone and just missed slamming that rebound in.

Ah yes, I do remember Kwame being in then....but Haywood?

it was a matchup thing. Eddie Jordan talked about it last night after the game.

Your starting Center sitting out the 4th quarter and most of the overtime...in a very close game? Seems odd to me....what match-up was he referring to?

Live in Cali and went to the game last night. It was great -- Hughes and Arenas were simply too quick for the Lakers and Ruffin really gave them some good minutes. The whole team just plays hard... except Kwame.

I guess the Lakers miss Shaq,
He matched up with the Wiz pretty well.

The Lakers just stand around and wait for Kobe to do something. It's painful to watch -- I guess Kobe got what he wished for.

Disagree. They held the Lakers to 116 at home in 4+ quarters. They stopped the dribble penetration with tougher play inside and forced the Lakers to take the outside shots. The Lakers get paid to make shots too.
Kwame played soft and tentative. Can't explain why Haywood was sitting.

I would like to see them switch to Redskins colors. I like when a city has uniform colors for all their teams (Steelers, Pirates, Penguins). Right now the Caps and Wiz match, but no way the Skins switch, so the rest need to.
