What a sloppy start.
We definately look more talented.
What has Jamison been up to. The last few games he seems to be making to bad decission on shots. I hope he stops soon.
We need to settle down, run the offense, pass the ball and work on defense.
We should get a ton of rebounds tonight.

We need to settle down. Everyone is trying to do to much.
Now would be a good time to bring in Simmons or Dixon, not Hayes. Hayes isnt a leader, he is a follower.

Interesting, Blake is still not active. I thought he was eligable to come of IR already.
They still arent running the Printon O. You can see how much farther we still have to go. We have a lot of upside to go.

You have to be kidding. He had 8 offensive rebounds in 20 minutes. Dont forget how raw he is. He was like a walk on to the practice squad and made the team. His game reminds me of Rodman. NO HE ISNT RODMAN. Just his game remind me of him.

It was a great game, but it shouldn't have been that close :(
I guess 22 turnovers does that to you.

Really, are you a GS fan ? Cuz if your a WIZ fan, that was a terrible game, worst of the session. No mental discipline at all. They were just terrible.
Except for the talent of Hughes and Gil, they showed nothing.
I have no idea whats wrong with Jamison but he is looking worse then earlier in the year. He is falling in love with the flip, creative shot that he can do, but he is doing it to often now. He is forcing things more. He used to shot some shots with regular form. I like his shot when he comes off the pick, but he is doing a lot of dumb stuff now. Sometimes he just grabs the ball and throws it at the hoop. At least he was smart enough to pass the 2nd to last shot, he give it to Hughes instead.
He took 20 shots and only made 8 = .400% 0-0 FT
Gil 7-11 .636 % 7-9 FT
Hughes 7-12 .583% 4-6 FT
He did the same thing in the Miami game. 10-26 and 1-7 from 3 and forced that late 3 point shot. I used the say this was Jamisons team, but I think you can make the arguement, this is Gil and Hughes team now. They are the stars. Jamison is becoming a great role player. He need thiers game to be effective, I dont think they need his.
As for coaching, you could have had no coaches and just let them go out there and play and they could have done that well. It was basically Gil and Hughes putting the game on thier backs.
Hayes is quickly becoming a bum 1-8, and was shooting .363 before this game. He was .400 last year. He isnt that good a defender. I know he had a hand problem but come on. For all the minutes he played (18) and did nothing, they could have given Profit a shot. Profit has shown great court sense this year ( when we have seen him ), thats what we were lacking today. You telling me you couldnt give the kid 5 minutes but you can give Hayes 18 ? Isnt this what we did last year with Simmons. Now look at him.
Why wouldnt you put Profit in, he was 4-7 in 10 mintutes last game with 2-2 rebounds and 1 for 1 from 3. This is what drives some people crazy about Jordan.
Dixon played terrible also. I like Dixon but he didnt add anything tonight. He hasnt done anything is 5 games now.
Haywood walked all over the place. Kwame did also. Kwame played terrible.
Then that boneheaded reach in by Kwame at the end. Does anyone listen to Jordan. Ive sure he said, no fouls.
Jefferies played so weak. He had dunks blocked. They played like wimps tonight.
I know this is just one game, but if this was all I saw of this team, I would think this team had no real talent except Gil and Hughes.
They are the reason they won, and it was on pure individual talent. Jamison has great talent, he got lots of rebounds, but he has to start to play within his limits again. He is trying to do with Gil and Hughes do, and that's not his game.
Aside from these 3, no one else showed any real individual athleticism worth noting. Strangly enough, I do feel Profit has it.
At this point, I would rather give him the minutes over Hayes and probably Dixon. We know what they can do, lets see what he can do.

Perhaps he's a sports fan that enjoys a close game in which his team comes out on top? You should step back and breath buddy, you talk about the wizards as if they've been a real team for the last decade.
This is the first year in a long time in which they've shown HEART. Do you know what that is? It's the thing that gets you a "w" even if things go wrong. That's the first sign this team has shown that they are able to shake off the loser mentality that even MJ couldn't crack.
The team has talent, they have heart, and now they need to build on it. Baby steps. This team beats the teams they should beat and that's better then we've seen in years.
