Washington Wizards President of Basketball Operations Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has activated center Peter John Ramos and placed forward Samaki Walker on the injured list with a lower back strain.
Ramos was placed on the injured list on December 1, 2004 with right shoulder tendinitis. He has appeared in three games this season, averaging two points and one rebound per game. He scored a career-high six points against Miami on November 9, 2004 on 3-of-3 shooting from the field.
Walker has played in six games this season, averaging 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He set season-highs in points (6) and rebounds (5) on January 17 at San Antonio. Walker has averaged 5.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in his career.
Ramos will be in uniform and available to play tonight in New Orleans against the Hornets

Yea, Walker doesn't get a lot of minutes or plays a lot of games but has played over 123 minutes this year....which might not seem like a lot but Ramos has only logged in 12 minutes this year....and Walker is not contributed to the team at all....so give the young kid that you plan on having on your roster for many years if he works out those extra 110+ minutes.

Well if we see him it will be because we are blowing the Hornets out. I wouldn't expect to see him tonight. Nice to know the big boys are coming back though. We need some muscle on the inside (Kwame) and Ramos needs to get in and get his education.
Go Wiz!!

Ive been bitching since at least the first SA game that we should be playing this guy, and you actually are pointing the camera on yourself and linking to the threat I stated were are you made a post half way down the page.
Now thats humility in action if Ive ever seen it.
Props to Bugs

Right now our only "need" would be a veteran big man that can defend the paint, but I don't want to trade any of our young guys for one. I think Michael Ruffin and Brendan Haywood are going to evolve into those types of players, with Haywood already on the way there.
We got our Texas Two Step coming up. Hopefully we can win at least one of them. I think we have a legit shot against the Spurs. Hopefully Haywood and/or Jeffries can keep Duncan under check like they managed to do to KG earlier.

Yeah, thats a tall order. I like our chances against Dallas more then the Spurs, though it is the second in a back to back. We could really use Kwame but he is on IR.
HEY JORDAN, sit Walker and activate RAMOS
PLEASSSSSSSSSSSE
Your not going to play Walker anyway. At a min, they need to see the big guy ready to come in off the bench. Activate him.
come onnnnn.

I don't think anyone needs to be taking credit for anything to he actually gets in a game and plays well.
