Can you believe Dixon went down ?
Jordan said he was hurting. They dont know how bad it is, but it hurt. Sound like its going to take at least the All Star break, maybe long to get better.
Incredible. Well, one day well have our whole team.
Anyway, I wish Ramos got more minutes, but EJ called a time out with 4 minutes left to put him in. Maybe he had a number in his head about how many minutes he wanted to play him.
He looked kind of lost out there. Kind of reminded me of Kwame in the early days. I just wish he would have done something impressive to help build his confidence. Anyway, hes a project.
Profit got some minutes again. 2 games in a row I didnt see much from him. As with Ramos, I wish I would have seen more good things. Maybe thats Profits thing. He just doesnt bring it every night. It took Dixon a little time for the light to go one. Blake also. He is still struggling to look comfortable.
Hey, we have young guys. Sometimes they look great, sometimes not. We have to be patient.

Wizards reserve guard Juan Dixon left the game with 3 minutes 44 seconds left in the second quarter with a sprained right ankle, when he drove in the lane and landed on Rockets center Yao Ming's foot. Dixon said the injury could keep him out "about two weeks."

"You have to look at the positive," Coach Eddie Jordan said. "Momentum for us is being 30-22. That's not a small feat in itself. That's significant for us, from where we came last year. That's how we're going to carry it into the second half, not necessarily that we lost three in a row. We're 30-22. That's momentum."
The Wizards also expect to get a boost from the return of Hughes, the team's second-leading scorer and the league leader in steals per game, and Kwame Brown, who has missed 38 games because of various foot ailments.
"We're getting Larry and Kwame back, so we've got a lot of positives going into the break," said Arenas, who had nine assists but scored just 11 points on 3-of-14 shooting. "We haven't played with a full roster until the day we get back. We're going come back, going to be at full strength. We're going to be a power team and we're going to be scary."

So frustrating. Especially when we go up against teams like Houston. We need EVERYONE on our active roster to beat those teams.

I didn't think he looked lost out there....I thought he actually looked like he knew what he was doing....he ran the floor well and he made some picks and bodied up against some guys on defense....when he came in the game I just watched everything he did and to me he looked ok. He just didn't have an opportunity to do much. He made a quick move and fell down on one offensive possession and he missed another shot...I hope EJ plays him more after the break but I have a feeling he won't....it might help Ramos that Dixon got hurt and will probably go on the IR with Walker....that leaves another person needing to go on the IR....I'm thinking it will either be Profit or Ramos....most likely Ramos :(

Larry should be back for the Memphis game....Kwame should be too but might not be back until the Chicago game...this is what they said during the broadcast of the game last night...

I said, " kind of lost out there " not totally lost, but it looks like you think he did a little better then I did.
Yeah, he feel, that was unfortunate, but it was an offbalanced spin. Im sure he was overly excited and rushing a little.
To me, he looked a little confused on D, but that seems to be a team thing. It was good to see him out there, but I wouldnt be suprised if we didnt see much more of him any time soon.
I was most impressed with how fast he was. He is way faster getting up and down the court then Yao. I got to thinking.
How awesome would it be to have a dude 7-4 who could beat the big man covering him down the court everytime ?
That could create some serious problems for the other team. If they switch to someone as fast, they will be smaller and he can post them up. This could be very interesting once he develops.

I wonder how many times they practice over this break.
I would hope Larry would have some practive time to get back in the flow with the team.

I would hope they practice a few times before returning from the All-Star break....but, Jamision and Gil will be in Denver so they won't be able to practice with Larry and Kwame. I know Larry has been shooting since he got his splint off...don't know about Kwame.

he did run the floor pretty well when he was in, but its hard to tell since he only played 4 min with guys who were in for most of the game.
i wouldn't say he looked lost, but i liked how the team gave him a chance to operate on offense. defensively he did seem a little lost, but thats somewhat understandable.
i like his fro
