Damn, I know there are too many sixer fans ot there...but I have to tell you the last few games have been very exciting. Especially when the Answer dropped 60. He is playing incredible. I do love Antawn Jamison though....UNC baby!!

Iverson is unstoppable this year. Anyone else out there believe the east will win the all-star game? :D

I have to admit that I'm impressed with his play, and I used to be a big detractor of how selfish he played the game. This season he's embraced the role of a team leader and it shows.

One thing I don't understand is how some people are knocking Iverson for wanting out of Philly. They have shown no commitment to winning and have no real talent surrounding AI. He wants to be part of a winning franchise and he is getting older (around 30 now). He wants to win a ring or two and every player should want that. But, I keep hearing in the media that he is causing problems by wanting out. It's his right!

Always been an AI fan. I just wish he never went to Philly. :puke:

Gotta love a player from VA and played at G-Town. Represent!

I remember the big deal being made about him possibly leaving G'Town early. He was, I believe, the first player to leave G'Town early and commit to the NBA draft. He was great at G'Town, but I never imagined the star that he would become.

Are you kidding? The guy was only 6'3 at the most but teams were enamored to have a chance to get this guy. The Philly GM had no doubts that AI was gonna be a franchise player and they took him. By the way, did you watch G'town games when Iverson played. The guy was a shooting beast and everything revolved around his presence on offense. I remember games when he and Ray Allen would go at each other and Ray still says AI is still one of his toughest opponents (see NBA All-star site).

Furthermore, the guy was a natural with the ball in his hand and the only reason they didn't make it to the final four that year was because they had no big man to match-up with Camby in the sweet 16. But even then, AI still had room for growth and you see what that growth got him. One of the top players in the NBA.

But if G'town only had some help when AI was playing G'town could have at least made the final 4. AI was like a one man shooting team and Othello Harrington couldn't handle Marcus Camby in that sweet 16 game.

Man! the good 'ole days at G'town:D

Unfortunately, I'm not kidding....I knew he would be a good NBA player but not the elite player he is now and has been for years...I watched all the G'town games when he played and he was a beast....but young and I had my doubts about him leaving early and going pro....but, that's why I'm sitting here typing and not evaluating players for next years draft

Iverson is no where near 6'3. He is barely 6'0. I've seen this guy in DC Nightclubs and i've got at least 4 or 5 inches on him.

Iverson is listed at 6'0, but I heard he is 2-3 inches short of 6'0.

Your correct, AI is like 6'0 /6'1. I was thinking of Juan Dixon when I typed the size for some reason. Maybe because i wish Juan would some how turn into an AI in the near future.

He probably is. Teams are known to embellish the height of their big name players. Barkley admitted as much in his book, and he's only 6'4, which is my height.

I've seen Iverson in two different nightclubs multiple times. Only spoke to him once, and he's usually an unapproachable guy, but I had to look down at him. He's definitely under 6'0, IMO.
