I am watching the NBA Celebrity Game and Stuart Scott was just interviewing Gil. What does Gil do but say that once the game gets runnin and gunnin that he thinks there is a good chance he will win the MVP. The ESPN announcers were kind of laughing it off and then he continued saying that he goes to sleep early and he is always well-rested.
Gotta say though that the announcers are talking a lotta of Wizards and that is a welcome change. Perhaps that is what Gil is trying to accomplish here; instead of just having 2 Wiz in the game, maybe that's just not enough.....I like it!

I can't get the image out of my mind of Arenas crossing up some sucka foo on the West and hittin one his patented layups + the And1.

It would've been funny if Gil said something like "I'm not kidding, I'm gonna win the MVP award" after the announcers snarkled.
And what would make it even better if he said something like that and actually does it. It would F!ck up the entire All-star game, players and announcers:laugh: Now that would be sweet.

He's just having a good time...and I was worried about him being shy at his first all star game
I was very surprised about how much the announcers talked about the Wiz tonight......I loved it! :notworthy

Gil is probably thinking that, but doesn't want it to haunt him if he made the promise and didn't get it.
Hopefully we can see a Wiz night.

I want Gil to destroy the West on Sunday. Anything to get his name out there on the national scene. The more he's visible and getting respect, the more the Wizards are visible and getting respect.

If Gilbert gets the NBA All-Star Game MVP Award... I'll sh** the bed. I cannot WAIT for this game to start. :)
