http://www.nba.com/playerfile/tyson_chandler/index.html
This is a nice team and they are young with some vets like us.
This Gordon kid looks scary. This will be a tough game. We would win with Hughes 100% but without know what he can give us ???????

I'm very surprised that Ben Gordon does not start, I mean the man has mad skills... shoots the ball very good. He should definitely be rookie of the year.

Looks like Chicago is the team we are being "measured" against. Both teams have come out of the basement to surprise the league this season. This is an important game.

This is a statement game. I like our chances. I have that feeling.

I definitly like our chances because we have better players. Arenas can do everything Hinrich does, AND score, and Jamison can pull Tyson Chandler out of the paint. Look for a big emotional lift from Hughes coming back and the wiz kids to jump out early.

Gordon is good, but he has to guard Arenas. That's not an easy assignment for anyone. And on D, Steve Blake will do a lot of full court pressure. I don't think Gordon will be that affective vs. the Wiz. It would take away his game if he has to work hard both ends of the floor.

I like this challenge, just like the Grizzlies game. The Bulls are not an elite team but they do have some weapons and they are at home. Teams get up for the Wizards now and the Bulls are coming off a loss (playing at home).
We really need Hughes back because this team REALLY worries me when they play without Arenas....when Arenas takes his breathers and/or is injured/ejected we flat out struggle bigtime!!!!!
...one last point....Can we get anything in return for Hayes because he's non-existent out there w/out Hughes...he will be less existent when Larry returns.

I don't think any guy who comes off the bench should ROY over Okafor. That just isn't fair when he's had such a good season with such a bad team.

Yeah, no sh*t....no one wanted to step up and take a shot once Arenas went down. Even Jamison seems to play more timid when Arenas isn't on the floor

He has been up and down while hurt but I dont see where is is worse without Hughes.
1/17 was his first game without Hughes. His numbers look better not worse.

No Larry tonight. He would've been nice to stick on Ben Gordon in the 4th quarter.

I wish. But they also have Bibby and Brad Miller, and I'm not sure if Peja will be back for that game or not.

I thought that Webber deal was bad at first, but then I looked at it closer and noticed that without Webber, the Kings are 51-16 and with him they are 38-31 in the past two years. Peja also nearly played MVP-ish ball when Webber was out

God, I'm so frustrated with with EJ.
Play Kwame! Hes had great games against the Bulls and we need his inside presence. I dont care if he isnt at full strength, its good PT for him to get in shape. Instead he sits and we have to wait yet another game until he starts to see some action.

We need better defenders, and a big man that can grab boards with some force. I'm tired of this "Lets play hot potato with the rebound" ****.

Do you get the feeling that Kwame is already back in the doghouse after only one half of action (against Memphis)?

Yahoo finally updated. That sucks. I would have loved to beat this team. They are getting way too much credit right now. When Hughes is back we will crush them.

I was wondering exactly the same thing
Blake seemed to have played most of the 4th quarter and I don't know why. He finished with 2 points, 8 rebs (??) and 0 assists, I repeat 0 assists! Anyone seen Laron Profit lately??
Ruffin, on the other hand, plays with the heart of a lion, like Garg said, but he cannot be on the court at the end, unless we are in need of a defensive stop. His airball free throw was sad, not to mention the missed layup earlier in the 4th.
Kwame plays like he is 1/2 asleep. He seems to have no passion or energy. I just don't get this kid???

Well people, the Wiz are what they are (Soft). And against some of the more physical teams the Wiz suck. And unfortunately the Bulls are starting to be a little more physical and have some momentum to build on.
The Wiz, especially the forwards and centers need to step up. If not, we're gonna beat the awful and weaker teams but lose against teams with better or worser records than we have depending on how physical that team is. And the Bulls may be under us in the standings but are playing better ball then the Wiz.
And frankly, until our PF's/Centers and other guys other than Arenas start stepping up consistently. We will continue to lose to teams like the bulls. And tonite I didn't post during the game cause I had this gut feeling this was gonna be a loss. Why? because I've watched and observed the play of the Bulls and what I witness was a remedy that would defintely beat the wizards. But I didn't want to beleive they could until it was done. And during the first half regardless of how the wiz play in the 4th qtr's. The Bulls have a little more tenacity than the wizards right now and Curry and Chandler may not be all-star material. But atleast the Bulls coaching staff get outta those guys what we need from our PF's/Centers.
Frankly, the wiz talk about defense but forget how to play it come game time. And our role players IMO don't match up well with other teams role players. Well the better teams and teams with some tenacity about themselves. Other than Juan Dixon I think we need a overhaul on the bench, serious. This is the 2nd half of the season and the Wizards better put up or shut up cause 30 something wins means nothing this time of the season. But for the wiz it's great. But nows the time for our injured players and bench players and role players to step up. If not, we may make the playoffs and get swept or something or just barely miss it.
Stay Tuned...

Patch this loss to Eddie Jordan guys. The dude is totally obsessed with getting Etan and Ruffin as many minutes as possible. Hey coach: Brendan Haywood was dominated all the Bulls bigs tonight, yet Eddie Jordan doesn't play him down the stretch? Haywood was 6-8. Etan (the biggest ballhog I've ever seen. Look at his assist numbers. They are atrcious and shamefull for a big man. Haywood and Kwame actually are unselfish and pass the ball). Etan was 2-7. Ruffin plays hard, but he's a horrible defensive rebounder. Those offensive rebounds the bulls were getting were not happening when Haywood was in the game. Eddie Jordan is a clueless bafoon for not playing Haywood more. This isn't the first time this season Eddie hasn't played Haywood alot, and unfortunetly, it won't be the last.

Well actually I didn't see the game but was watching the ESPN play-by-play mode. And if that were the case with Eddie not playing Haywood when he was dominating. Then shame on Eddie.
IMO, we really needed this game. Not only for momentum but to also knock off a surging bulls team. And to also show that we don't just have to depend on Arenas and Hughes. Yes! i left out jamison because it seems we need all 3 to be potent. and it seems when one of the 2 are missing Arenas or hughes. This team is not the same and jamison can dissapear IMO in some games.
But yes! Eddie defintely needs to get a handle on his rotation of players or maybe he's trying to put the Wiz in a playoff position to play a team we match up well against in the east (don't know).
But also I see Eddie tinkering with the lineup and frankly you can't blame the guy. Were gonna need our bench and role players to step up and get some playing time and more in sync with the team. If not, our big 3 may not show up each and every game or someone may even get hurt. Then what? who can come in and step up at any given time other than Juan Dixon? it teams like the Bulls that's starting to get good production from their role players and bench. And in order for the wiz to last for the rest of the season and through the playoffs. These role players better start bringing thier "A" games.
But frankly with haywood or without haywood. I still think the Bulls would've beat the Wiz especially without Hughes and a healthy Kwame Brown.

Kirk Hinrich is just plain AWESOME and Ben Gordon is gonna be a big baller in this league. The difference in this game was the fact that we didn't challenge any outside shots. When a team is as hot from behind the arc as the Bulls were last night, ya GOTTA get a hand in a face. They went 12-16 from three-point range! (I think.) Defense, Wizards. Play some.

Blake played so much because we are so guard-short.
We've missed Larry Hughes every game for the past month but we really missed Juan Dixon in this game.
We needed another scorer. With Dixon, we would have won this game. With Hughes and Dixon it wouldn't have been close.

No biggy guys.
I didnt think we would win without Larry. As Ive said many times. Jamison doesnt haddle pressure well. He is not a star in the same cut as Gil and Larry who can do it all on thier own. Jamison is great against most teams but against the best teams, he isnt effective without Hughes and Gil who can take the pressure away.
We didnt have Hughes, Dixon and Kwame.
No way they beat us a full strenght.
The officials let that little white dude mug Gil all night and Gil still lit him up. He should have fouled out, so he wouldnt even be shotting those 3s. Even if Gil hit a few 3s we win.
Kwame didnt stay in because the game was to fast and aggressive. He wasnt keeping up with the intensity. Thats ok. He needed to see this. He is going to stand out like a sore thumb if he doesnt get with the program. There is nowhere to hide on this team. Everyone else is playing at a very high level. You either step it up or you will sit. He need to play Ruffins game in his body. Dont worry about offense unless its in the flow. I dont want to see him doing post moves unless its a blow out.
We did well playing shorthanded against a hot team on the road.
I think the D looked good to start but then it seemed we started to double team again, so the outside opened up. Ive liked our D more the last 2 games. We came out fast which is important on the road. Nice to see the learned that. It was a great game to watch.
That was playoffs style BB. We are still learning. We needed a game like that. It would have been great to win but not neccessary.
Hughes will be back next game. We have about 3 games to watch how he works himself back into things, then we start to roll again.

Chicago is a team that will be good for years to come if they keep their core guys (Heinrich, Curry, Chandler, and Gordon) as will the Wizards with our core (Arenas, Hughes, Jamison). They are very young like us and exciting to watch. Second game in a row we kept our opponent under 100 points, we will be hard pressed to do that today against the Kings, even without Weber. But let's try to do it....:fingersx:
