How do you guys think Kwame will fair the rest of the way? They don't show Wizards games out in California so I haven't seen his first 2 games back. I saw he played 31 minutes tonight and had a double-double. I could use a Center on my fantasy team. Do you guys think he can kee these double-dobles up? Was he in a lot because he was hot, or is this the amount of minutes he will get the rest of the way?
For fantasy players: Do you think he is worth picking up? I would be dropping Chris Mihm for him.

Keep Mihm's
Im not sure how your pts are generated but Ill give you my take on Kwame.
He looks in great shape. He still needs to get his legs under him and he needs to just be on the court so he can get used to the game again.
He looks real strong and he showed a couple of quick moves like he used to. He hit one nice shot from the side about 8 footer. He was quick to jump on a few rebounds.
EJ wants to bring him back slowly but Jefferies didnt play so he started. He looked a little rusty the first half but looked like he was getting in the flow by the second. He is a decent passer also. He has 3 assists. 6 of those boards where offensive. Thats a good sign. It shows his reactiion time is good and he was tracking the ball well.
He showed great progess tonight. Im not sure how soon you need to grab him. Its hard to say. Hughes coming back should only make Kwame better, but Jefferies coming back could take some of his minutes. Once this team has everyone healthy, its going to be interesting to see how the minutes break down.
Right now, Kwame is the least of these players when it come to keeping the offense running smooth. But that mostly because he missed so much time.
Haywood
Etan
Kwame
Jefferies
Ruffin
I would guess he get 20-25 Minutes. This is over the next 2 weeks. He will start here and there until he gets steady adn earns it. Then, if he is doing it, they will give him 25-30 Min.
Jamison wont be playing the PF anymore so you dont have to worry about him taking minutes.
Chris Mihm looks pretty solid. I dont think Kwame is going to do that much more then him in the short term. Hes a 52 game starter. 25.3 Min. 10 pts. Id say he is the better bet at this point. I dont think Kwame is going to be a 20 pts per night player this year. Your going to have Gil, Hughes and Jamison doing most the scoring.

Thanks, Hands. Mihm has been really frustrating lately. look at his latest line:
18pts, 11 Rebs, 0 blocks.
That is his last 3 games!!!!
I have been thinking of cutting my losses with him anyway. I also have Pryzibilla has has gone cold as well as Dalembert who I think I want to hold on to.
You really think Kwame won't do better than Mihm has been doing?

I dont know him like I do Kwame.
Im just looking at his stats.
I guess what I dont know is.
Does he have someone in the wings who may replace him ?
Is he a solid starter ? He started every game this year.
Is he on the way up or has he peaked ? 6yrs
How will he handle the increase pressure of the playoff run ?
Ill look at his stats again later. I have to head to work now.
6 yr Center playing carrer highs in min, pts, FG%
Is he breaking out ? It kind of looks that way. Is he like a Haywood. Slow to develop but coming along ?

Kwame looked GOOD vs. the Kings. I think he will be solid, but not 18 and 10 solid.

I think it was a good sign that EJ inserted Kwame into the starting lineup instead of Ruffin or Etan....that shows me that EJ has confidence in Kwame. This is the time for him to shine and wrestle that starting position from Jared. :redpunch:

Thanks for the help. I ended up trading Mihm, Chandler, and Finley for Okafor and Peja. Then I picked Kwame up with my open slot. I think he will at least keep up what he is averaging now, which is simialr to Mihm and Chandler.
Win-Win-Win for me! I think I have a shot at the league title.
