Man, this board has sucked the last few week. Posts are way down. Incrediable how everyone was jumping onboard when they were winning 8-0, beating Seattle, Cleveland, etc.

Then LH goes down and ever since it been a slow bleeding.

I predict that within 2 weeks, all the sun shine Salleys will return with thier predges of loyalty and prediction of splender.

Our man, I never had a doubt......

I thought we had more believer then I guess there really are.

The way I look at it, you have to enjoy it all. You have to go through the close games and losses to allow the wins to be as sweet as they are going to be.

LARRY's BACK IN TOWN.......

Were getting the old band back together.

I check in on a daily or nightly basis. I think it's also important to remember that it's an 82-game season. People have lives. I been with this team for over 30 years and will root them into the post-season this year, but there's not alot to say until they arrive.

every team, every year has to weather some adversity. this is the time for the wizards to suck it up. My prediction is that they will take some lumps and finish strong, making the playoffs.

I was here last season when we were losing. I was here in the first half of the season when we were winning, and I was still here when Hughes went down and we struggled.

Basically....

I'm still here. :)

SAMBO,
I'm with you. WOW has stolen computer time from me at home. I still watch the wizards, but with my work, haven't had much time to post. Of course most of the time on this forum, I'm just a lurker.

Yep. I still see a lot of the same people posting in Wiz threads that I did last season.

I have posted all season.

(see my post Sunday night after the Kings debacle). We havent played since then so I have been mum AND still angered.

I was about as angry as ive been all year...

Until last night when we blew that 17 point lead.

Im starting to blame our defensive problems on coaching...YES i said it - coaching.

We can score like no other but we leave everybody WIDEOPEN behind the arc... Im getting so frustrated.

Is it me or did Jamison seem "Lost" last night...

I mean lvl 57 on illidan.....

I haven't been posting here as much because all the free agency stuff has taken my focus off the NBA for a bit. I'll be back to the wiz in a little while.

It's definitely frustrating.

I will blame the defense problems against Houston on Eddie Jordan, but I'll stop the blame at that game.

Hughes should have been on T-Mac all game. I was screaming at my TV the entire game, watching T-Mac ***** slap Jamison all over the court. I love Jamison, but he is the worst defender I have ever seen. Guess who was guarding T-Mac when he missed the last 3-pointer?

Larry Hughes.

Don't bet on it Bugs..The Wizards don't have the followers like the Redskins do. I remember I was posting here before you got here bugs (not bragging) just don't remember you.

Anyhow, I'm die hard Wizard fan and will stick with them regardless. But frankly, I knew eventually something had to give with this organization. Now! we might not be the best team in the East. But with more work and players staying together hopefully our luck starts to really change.

Also, I know I'm hard on our big men. But it's from frustration and wanting to see them all do well. Granted, as much as I talk about haywood he really surprised me yesterday holding down Yao. Also, haywood said he plays better with Hughes in the line-up and against the Rockets he showed it.

Now! I love our team makeup regardless of what I say. But I'm still not totally sold on our big men until I see on a consistent basis those guys bringing it. And with the 2nd half of the season starting and hopefully these guys getting more playing time. Hopefully they will start peaking right when the playoffs begin.

That's right playoff's...Fortunately, i don't get a chance to see as many games as you guys do. And yesterday really showed me something that alot of you guys have been witnessing through out the season. Hughes is the backbone of this team and with him in the line-up makes it very diffucult for other teams to hound Gil and jamison all night. I guess I was getting frustrated with Hughes outta the line-up and started blaming guys like jamison and our big men.

Granted, were still weak on defense and we have like 2 7 footers that can run the floor at the same time. Now! if those 2 Kwame and Haywood would better help this team on defense I think we could upset some teams come playoff time. But again, these guys must be consistent against better offense of teams and teams that play better defense.

But from the rockets game I saw. i think these guys really got that swagger back and will start playing better ball toward the playoff. frankly, yesterday win was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Go wizzzzzzzzzz...

I wish we go man up vs. every team...regardless if T-Mac is on the court or not...

And yes Jamison is the worst on D.

I love AJ...but he is a shooting guard stuck in a PF's body.

Unfortunately I missed the Kings and most of the Rockets game, so I haven't been able to post in awhile. I'm definitely going to watch the game tonight, we finally have our entire team available (well, minus Dixon). Should be a win too, GS at home. Haven't seen how they've done though since they got Baron. Speaking of which, wasn't he hurt in NO, but now he's all of a sudden playing again since he was traded? I would like to see Kwame keep up the 10+ rebound games.

And that was a great win against the Rockets. Everytime I'd switch to it for a second or 2 in the 2nd half, the Rockets were pecking away at our lead. Haywood was the man at the end of the game, and thankfully Hughes didn't let T-Mac get another one of his ridiculous last minute comebacks.

Yeah, I'm a "fare wheater" fan. 100% whole wheat, to be exact.

I charge fares for wheats.

Anyways... after a loss, sometimes it is a good idea to chill and not cry about it on a message board. These people aren't necessarily "fare wheater" fans.

In addition, recently NFL free agency has started, and with all the drama with Coles, Pierce, and Smoot, there's a lot to talk about before there is NO FOOTBALL WHATSOEVER after the draft.

Only he couldnt cover a SG either.

He and Haywood are why we dont man up that much.
Both have super glue on thier heals.

I think with our full line up back minus Hayes, you will see less zone.

True, this has been the best part of the Skins season the last 5 years.

See I do the opposite. I dont post on the Skins board until just before training camp. To much of a waste of time just guessing until they do something. The Wiz are playing. Thats more exciting to me.
