I would like to give a resounding and overwhelming F%#@ YOU to that piece of garbage Peter Angelos. Thanks for not letting us watch our new franchise win their first game ever, and Wilkerson hit for the cycle. You truly are a piece of garbage. :soapbox:
If anyone else has any kind words for that old miser up the road, feel free to sound off here.

Thank you. I was beyond frustrated last night. Worst part is, we have the Directv baseball package and they don't show Phillies home games for some reason. So no one in DC saw the cycle and first win. Amazing.
BOYCOTT THE ORIOLES.

Phillies home games are not on because Comcast SportsNet in Philly is not made available on DirecTV. Unlike in the MD/DC area Comcast SportsNet was the first one, and not made out of an existing cable channel that was on DirecTV already. I feel for you guys. All of this excitement about the team, and you're getting it up the rear end. All I can tell you is welcome to MLB in the Bud Selig era. So, get used to it. If 2 teams can exist in NY and Chicago on tv, I don't know why MLB has to please the Angelos and Baltimore which is a different city and market. Baltimore gets north MD, South DE, and even South Central PA. Angleos played Bud Selig like he was a little kid, and in the end who loses, the new fans in Washington. Stay patient, and you're gonna have fun team this year. You may finish in last, but they'll fight to the end.

I agree, its a pretty shiesty deal...I'm a diehard O's fan, but I want to support the Nats too. having a favorite AL and NL team can't be a bad thing, right?
I've wanted to flip back and forth between the games, I'm pissed that I missed Wilkersons cycle, too.
Still, I was an O's fan before Angelos and will be a fan after him, too. this tv deal sucks, now i'm probably going to have to drop a bunch of money for MLB season pass on directtv cause I want to see the Nats too. You suck Angelos.

Oh man, this is horrible.
I didn't know about this devolopment.
Hey, at least we have a team and they have a winning record. Unlike those crapbird O's.
I'll be down there tomorrow. I hope I get to see Willis get rocked tomorrow night.

I hear you. The problem is, I find it difficult to hate the O's since I have watched them since I was a kid. I've never been a huge fan or anything, but if there was one team I pulled for, it was them. It's also hard to suddenly start rooting against players like BJ and Rafie. I simply hate the old man. Hopefully he'll sell the team soon and lead a life of counting his millions in some dark vault away from anything sports related.
