Although I didn't get to see any of the games except for ESPN highlights, I'm fired up! (sucks that a lot of games aren't gettting televised yet), but with not a lot of talent this team seems like they have heart and as a die hard DC sports fan thats all can ask for after years of suffrage following Angelos and the O's in that dirty city to our North.

I followed the last couple innings of this game on the internet and the Nats put up a run in the 8th to tie it and then Vidro knocked a ball out of the park to win it in the 10th. If they can scrap together series like this they could very well go .500. I can't wait to catch some games in RFK this year. I hope that place will rock and opposing teams will fear a tenth as much as they did when it was the Skins home. Can't wait to plant myself in a burgundy seat this summer, with a dog in one hand and a 24oz brew in my other and cheer on a winning team in DC!

P.S. We beat Philly in something so thats pretty sweet I guess.

It's great!

Oh, and I hate to beat a dead horse, but thanks to Angelos we missed a whole bunch of "firsts" for the Nats in the game today, and don't get me started on the ones from yesterday.

This is great news, go Nats. These are the type of games they need to win over the long run. WIlkerson is a beast! And Loiza pitched pretty good until his one bad inning.

Can anybody tell me the last time a Washington baseball team was in first place all alone? I'm thinking the last time they were even tied for first was after Opening Day of 1971. I'm just psyched to see them playing well and can't wait for the first nationally televised game so I can actually see the uniforms (and probably cry like a baby).

word on the street is that congressman Jack Evans has flexed his muscles and expanded the tv deal...check this letter out.

(by the way the next 4 games will be televised starting tomorrow)

I can't express my happiness with having a team in Washington for the first time in my lifetime enough.

To have a guy hit a cycle and have a winning record makes so very happy.

I was at their first game and I am already growing to love this group of guys. The uniforms don't mean much to me yet, but those guys have heart, guts, and soul from what they have showed. I am proud as hell.

I'm glad to share it with you guys, this is great.

I was not one of them for the record. Some dude started saying some chit to a Nats, fans and then the football stuff get started. I said, "hey hey, NO TALKING ABOUT MY SKINS.", this being said wearing a Bily Wagner jersey.
