Let the Wizards Mail Your Taxes!
The Wizards want to help out the last minute tax procrastinators with returning their taxes on time. During tonight's game between the Wizards and Cavaliers (8 pm), all fans in attendance are welcomed to bring their stamped envelope to representatives from the D.C. Postmasters Office, who will be located on the main concourse. The Postmasters will mark all tax envelopes “received by April 15, 2005.”

It is really embarrassing and bush league for the Wizards to have so many of these promotions, like "Singles Night".

I could maybe see doing this kind of stuff if we were a crap team, but we're not, not anymore.

These promotions are bush league, but will probably unfortunately never go away until La Sooz gets the axe (ie. when this franchise is torn away from Abe's dead fingers).

The players this year have talked about instilling a new atmosphere and attitude about Wizards Basketball and these silly promotions tend to undermine this.

This is the classic "Washington basketball is a joke" type stuff. These promotions are similar to when the Bullets/Wiz ad campaigns would always attempt to sell the other team's stars.

I hope they really cut back on this garbage next year, if not stop it altogether.
