If Miami wins do we have the 4th or 5th seed?

If the heat beat the pacers today are we assured of the 4th or 5th then?

What we do have going for us is Indiana playes Chi the last game of the season, so this could get us the 4th spot as long as we win our last 2 :cheers:

No, we're not assured of having the 4th or 5th spot if Indiana loses to the Heat. They'd be 2 games back with 2 to go, we split the season series so the tiebreak goes to conference record and if we lose both our remaining games and Indiana wins both of theirs they would get the higher seed.

If Indiana loses tonight, they go 2 games behind us. So if we lose two and they win two, they tie us and they have the tiebreaker over us (conf record). So no, we arent guaranteed the 4th or 5th seed.

So Wiz have to win 1 more to guarantee the 4th or 5th seed, or the Pacers need to lose tonights game, as well as one more.

Nets looking to get into the playoffs, i think they will be hard to stop, unless we can limit their offense to just VC, while the Big Three go off like todays game.

I still think it is important for us to get that 4th seed if we want to advance. We were a much better home team than road team this year. But, I would much rather play Chicago either way. Don't want to face Indiana in the first round.

Indiana lost to the Heat so they can not get the 4th, as long as we win one more we assure the 5th, now if we win both, the pacers beat the bulls, we get the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
