East: Eddie Jordan. The Wizards were a lottery team last season, but Jordan has quietly changed the culture in D.C. to lead Washington to the playoffs for the first time since 1997. The Wizards execute the Princeton offense well together and have found a nice groove. Even without an inside threat, Jordan's team is high-scoring and fun to watch. He beats out Chicago's Skiles – barely. Skiles helped the Bulls overcome a 0-9 start and led them to the playoffs. They are nasty and very defensive-minded, and they compete every night.

The leadership of Eddie Jordan and the way he and Grunfield have helped turn around the culture of this organization cannot be overlooked. I am sure Jordan will make up for whatever coaching weaknesses he may have - hell why wouldn't he, he made the WIZARDS a winning team!

I also attribute the maturing of Gilbert and Larry directly to EJ. At this time last year, I had my doubts about both Gil and Larry. I thought maybe Gil should move over to shooting guard, and Hughes would be a goner. Good to see these guys become BALLERS!

Washington is truly going to be a winning city as soon as the skins make it to the playoffs...

As it stands, it looks like Skiles barely edged Jordan. We can change that by winning the next two. (Hopefully Indy will squash Chicago.)
