View Full Version : King James to the Wiz???

I was sitting in a suite at the Wiz game on Friday vs the Cavs and one of the hot topics was about Lebrons future in Cleveland. It is evident that he does not like the new ownership and wants out. His mom has already publicly voiced her displeasure to the new owners. So people were talking and they expect Ernie to inquire. With Kwame wanting out, we could package him and Hughes (sign and trade of course) for King James and someone else to balance the books.

Just the early talk from the hot stove.

I think we would have to give up some picks too.

That would be incredible.

I would package Kwame and AJ, but I'm not saying I would want this to happen. I know it's LEBRON JAMES and all but I just don't even want to talk this trash until the offseason. And even then I'll be VERY defensive about breaking up our team.

It is a pipe dream, but this was the chatter. Lebron will command a lot of attention if he is up for trade. I dont see the Cavs taking AJ at all. It would be Hughes and Kwame. Maybe a first rounder too. This was the chatter, I just sat back and soaked it in.

I'd do Hughes and Kwame and first for Anderson Varejao and Lebron James.......height for height and guard for guard...plus we will get some value for Kwame.....Imagine Arenas and Lebron in the back court.....Lebron would love that....

i like our team the way it is. i would only trade hughes if he wanted out.

Lebron is a Forward..hes not a Guard. Secondly i'd be willing to trade Hughes, AJ, and Kwame as well as our 1st rounder next year for Anderson Varejao, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and King James.

P.S we dont have a first rounder this year, we lost it to Orlando in that Haywood deal.

Lebron is a SG IMO. Hughes is a FA next year and will command lots of money in the open market. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Lebron wont leave cleveland...the new owners spent millions because of ONE MAN....they wont let him go, they'lll do everything in there power to make him stay and hes from Cleveland anyways...so it would make much more sense for him to stay

Not if the owner keeps making these moves. If I was LeBron I'd want to see productive offseasons for two years for Cleveland to have any chance to keep me, especially after the horrible offseason last year.

This isn't going to happen.

No, it's not going to happen, but I'd do it.

As much as I love Hughes him and Brown for Lebron would be a steal.

Lebron, Arenas, and Jamison? Just chalk up an NBA title.

I would do it in a heart beat. we defintely need one player on this Wiz team with the attitude of Lebron. Not only that, but the guy is a total beast, something that the wiz just don't have. Someone that can put it down with major authority.

Do it please....

It would be pretty pitiful if he did leave Cleveland. That town has always been in the shadow of someone else. In the 80s, John Elway and the Broncos kept them out of the Superbowl. At the same time, Michael Jordan and the Bulls made highlight reels out of the Cavs.

Now, they have their savior, redid the team, trying desperately to change the image. They changed the jerseys. Shipped out players who did not fit with Lebron (Ricky Davis).

And then Lebron leaves? Yeah right. I think Lebron could become GM if he wanted.

If he leaves the Cavs, he goes to NY.

I was not saying it would get done, it was the talk in the suite. One of the people in the suite has some stake in both the Wiz and Caps.

If Lebron were to go, I could see him going to a big market team, but NY has no money. And a lot of bad contracts.

Cleveland better make something happen this offseason, but Lebron is being wasted there.

I will speculate on moves once this season is over....I am just enjoying the good team we have now and not focused on messing with it for now....

On to the Playoffs!

Id give up Hughes AJ AND Kwame.

Lebron is the future.

Aint happenin though...no team would give him up. They'll do anything they want to keep him happy.

Even with him, i think we still need a big man or some sort of presence/role player. Also would we have enough money casue there is some sort of salary cap?

I'd offer Gil, Larry, and whatever else the heck the Cavs want, assuming LeBron will stay in DC. And the Cavs would still decline.
