Hey Wizard fans...being a Pistons fan (and no I'm not a bandwagoner...I was there in the Allan Houston & Stack years) I didn't get to watch many Wizards game this year...and now I'm faced with a dilema.

I'm in a NBA Survivor Fantasy Pool at work (16 slots on the team: 4 Centers, 6 Forwards, 6 Guards...have to fill the roster taking only one player from each playoff team)...and I am down to picking my last choice from the Wizards.

As it seems the two best statisical guys on the Wizards are at the Guard position, and that works out perfect for me since I need one more guard.

Scoring for the league runs as follows:

- 1/2 point for every freethrow
- 2 points for every field goal (3 for 3 pointers)
- 2 points per assist
- 2 points per steal
- 2 points per rebound
- 3 points per block

The question is who should I take...it seems like these two are neck and neck in the stats...

Based on their opening round matchup and their play of late + the pressure/excitement of the playoffs....who would be the best option to get me the most fantasy points?

Will Hughes or Arenas be the better play...from a fantasy perspective?

Any insight would be appericated....

Arenas, since steals are worth the same as points. Arenas gets to the line more often and makes more 3 pointers.

They are both pretty equal statistically, but I would take Hughes, I had him on my team this year, and he has been fantastic. He was ranked top 10 until he got hurt at the middle of the year. He scores as many points, both go to the line a ton, both hit 3's, both get around the same amount of assists I believe, Hughes gets more steals, both get boards, and are equal at blocks (One of them usually has some brutal block in each game.)

I would go with Hughes, by a hair...

I guess Arenas has proven more durable.

I'd go with Hughs. It looks like made freethrows won't help as much as baskets, and more of Arenas' points seem to come at the foul line. Tkae it for what it's worth. I wouldn't bet on a huge difference between the two. Who is guarding each as primary matchup in the series?

Normally I'd say Arenas, but since free throws are only worth 1/2 points, I would go with Hughes.
