Key to the game: We must keep the Seahawks from running to the left!!
I've been watching a lot of Seahawks games from this year and the previous two, and they love to run to the left and pull their gaurd. Especially in down in the redzone. That is how they score most of their touchdowns. I would say that about 65-70 percent of their runs go that way. I think our defense is the strongest on that side, so they are going to have a lot of work cut out for them. I think that will be a real key to the game. Has anyone else noticed that?

Who is Wem? :whoknows: ;)
I don't know. I think we are strong against the run. I think we will force them to beat us through the air.
Other than that, I will leave the scout report to the guys making the big bucs.

I know we are strong against the run. We were #1 against the run last year (we are #2 this year), and have not allowed a 100 yard rusher in 7 straight games. But Alexander is a very good back to stop. Im just keeping it real. I see that being a real test for our defense.

we have stopped him the last three games with lesser talent on d and coaching.

It's not just that Alexander is a good back though. We do well going to the left because
1. Walter Jones is imo the best LT in the NFL, and one of the most dominating players in the NFL at any position. He routinely makes the better DEs look like children.
2. Steve Hutchinson is, well, at least in the top 3 LGs in the NFL and a complete beast.
Stopping them is a tough task, you don't do it with one on one match ups.

And so continues the thought that Redskins fans have little to say when confronted with genuine football talk...

If thats true G.Williams already knows this :D
Re: Key to the game: We must keep the Seahawks from running to the left!!
They are such a threat on the left because of their HUGE left tackle. If i were G.Williams in my "packages" i would stack an extra linebacker on that side. :)
Re: Key to the game: We must keep the Seahawks from running to the left!!
Yeah. Im just keeping it real. Its going to be a war because that is the best side of our defense. Shawn Springs can is one of the best tackling cprners in the league. Then you got Marcus Washington who always makes plays. The Seahawks will have their work cut out for them if they choose to run that way the majority of the time.
