Well sign me up.
I think that's bull**** personally. Special K is not a drug people should take. Taking a drug everyday isn't right either.
Eat LSD, see the truth and fight the power and conform this wrongful world to right. :D
The only advice I might offer is get outside. I had surgery in April and got into a depression because of the surgery and it didn't seem to help just make things worse. Luckily it was in the spring and I had the summer to get out because in Wyoming winter is brutal with the wind. I couldn't do anything for 4 weeks. So I would go out and sit on the ground and pick up leaves, put them in a small bucket and take them to the compost area. I'd do this for hours a day. I refused to watch TV. I think the sun and air and being outside really helped. Even for several weeks afterward I made myself be outside. It took a long time but I finally got out of it.But also, it could've been because it was a long time after the surgery.Or a combination?? But I don't think it hurt.
Outside is great (unless you're also agoraphobic :)).
I love outside. Today was another brilliantly sunny and perfectly warm gorgeous day around the mouth of the Columbia River. :)
Awesome area. Love the scenic magnificence in this locale. Uplifts most moods in most people (when not raining :D).
Isn't pharmacology wonderful? I'm mostly familiar with ketamine as an anesthetic in veterinary applications, but it it interesting that someone has found a spot on the dose-response curve where it is effective in treating depression without having the serious anesthetic side-effects. Of course, that means doctors will have to be careful with prescribing this drug as it will be prone to abuse.
