I played 3 years in high school, TE and DE. Actually, I only "played" 2 years, the first year I spent on the bench trying to be an undersized tackle. Moved me to TE and tried me on the D-Line and I ended up starting for 2 years both ways. Well, when I wasn't hurt. I eventually had to have my shoulder reconstructed before my senior year and had to stop playing.
Had alot of good times in the #82/#72 jerseys...
Hey Michael_33, I played for Rolla but about 30 years before you were at Parkview. I played OT and DT, punted and kicked off. We were the smallest school in the CEMO conference, playing power teams from Jefferson City and Columbia. While I was playing, Jefferson City was ranked 1st or 2nd in the country each year and had a 70+ game winning streak going. It was fun playing and I made a lot of friends. TGateNGDad
Played a little full back in high school played middle linebacker in college at Hampton U.
I played from 6th to 11th grade ( I played on JV in middle school) I was a Fullback (for blocking not for running) and Defensive tackle, I was 5'9" 265 (funny cuz I am the same now but alot fatter). I got a partial scholarship to UVA and had partial tears in my MCL, medial meniscus, and ACL, during spring practice. Ended my "career." yeah I was pretty good I guess, but certainly never thought that I would be pro material.
Played D.T. and F.B. in high school. Of course played football from age 9 to age 19. Played one and a half years in college, Special Teams only. Blew out my knee and that ended any chance of doing anything more.

I mostly played a lot of streetball and a little organized football in HS. I played left Guard.
last three yrs we have been playing flag football and im the center and h-back/halfback
didnt play in HS except backyard games every friday or so. last year i took my college flag football team to the championship game as QB but one of our wides hurt his knee and couldnt play so i had to fill in even though i didnt want to. and sure enough last play of the game i go up for a ball and get decked, land on my wrist and fracture it. funny thing is i went 8 months without knowing it and got a cast for it a month ago. we lost the game but were coming back strong and are probably the favorites to win it this year.

Im not book smart enough to go to 1-A..... im going to the service for my juco experiance then ima go try out for the AFL. or maybe just start out in some of the smaller arena leagues.
