Skins/Panthers TV schedule for NC Skins fans

I'm trying to figure out which of the games we will be assured of this season and I think I have it. From my limited experience with this area, does this look right? Obviously we'll get the NFL and prime-time games, I just need a clarification on the dates we play later or earlier than the Panthers or on different networks. I'm sure I'll be heading to Hi-5 a lot more this season as well...it's just nice to watch a game at home every once in a while. :dallasuck

If any of this is wrong, please correct me but I think it's a reasonable guess as to what we should get on TV this year.

where in NC are you? i came down to the outer banks saturday and couldnt find the titans skins preseason game. :( first time in years i havent seen a preseason game here.

I'm in Raleigh. The Titans game was on the NFL network. I'm not sure what cable system the Outer Banks have, but here in Raleigh it's Time Warner and they don't carry that channel.

dagger. we have regular cable at this house- no NFLN. if you have direct tv on dish i think you can get NFLN.

yeah, it seems like this year will be tough. I go to school in greenville and the schedule was pretty generious when it came to conflicting panthers and skins games. This year seems a little bit tougher

Live in Greensboro....your schedule looks right....Dolphins in week 1(CBS) will definately be on in this area...CBS carrying Men's US Open final @ 4 pm. Dec 2 against Bills (CBS) has good chance of being carried depending on teams records at that point of season.

Also...Packers game on Oct 14th...will not be on...CBS has doubleheader that week and Fox will show their 1 game @ 4:05 locally to both teams (Carolina and Arizona)

Not to confuse things, but I also live in Greensboro and get East and West channels (CBS, FOX, etc) on DTV in addition to the local affiliates. So, Sunday has three Fox's and three CBS's to choose from (although sometimes the same games are on). Anyone else have experience with this or maybe have an early bead on what will be offered? At the least the East channels out of NY are good for the two Skins-Giants games no matter what the Panthrs are doing. Having three regions to choose from has prevented me from getting the Sunday ticket. But, I still HATE the Panthers.

the skins steelers game will be on NFL network on Sunday at 11AM PST for those of us who arent in the tri state area..

I know in the Charlotte area if the Panthers play a 1:00 game at home most times they won't show a game on the opposite channel. The Panthers open at St Louis so the Skins will definitely be on at 1:00pm You have to also factor in which network has the doubleheader for that Sunday. Even though I have Sunday Ticket, I always go through the schedule like this to see how many games I could see anyway. Then I debate about whether I still want to pay for the Ticket. The answer is always yes. I hate the local TV stations determining which games I'm gonna watch.

I lived in Fayetteville for 8 years. If Carolina is playing a game at the same time, you won't see the Skins. If they are playing a 415 home game, you won't see the Skins (if the Skins are scheduled for 1.) However, anytime that the Panthers are away, and they play late, the Skins are on at 1:00. You will also be able to get Sonny and Sam regardless of what the Panthers are doing on an AM station (1230? I think). I havent lived there for a couple of years, but that is how it was when I was stationed at Bragg.

So i just moved to the Raleigh area, Apex to be exact, and was just wondering if there were any Redskins bars nearby. Anyone have any info?

Hi-5 in Raleigh is where I'll be viewing several games this season. The Triangle Redskins Fan Club has a room to itself...complete with the playing of "Hail To The Redskins" after every score.

Wilmington, NC here. How many other Redskins fans live in Wilmington or nearby? Hopefully will get more Redskins games this year.
