So what was up with all the dropped passes in the game yesterday? I know the Fins receivers dropped a whole lot more and had every right with ST lurking out there, but Moss dropped a couple that should have been caught. Smoot doesn't drop the INT, game over without OT. Seems like that only one that didn't have a problem catching the ball was Randle El which I might add was a great performance.

Moss just isn't used to catching real passes yet, he's still adjusting from getting softballs from lefty.
Man I'm with you on that point, all I could say when Moss dropped those two passes was "Wow, what the hell is going on?!?!?!" :whoknows:
Campbell threw a few behind Moss and a few others were off the mark. Campbell needs to touch up his accuracy because that's a big reason why those passes weren't completed.
I'm not talking about the passes that were JC's fault. There were a couple of them and its expected from a guy his size. Afterall, he is a big guy. There were just so many dropped balls that should have been caught.
Jason could have thrown some better balls, but if you get both hands on the ball then you have to catch it. I think JC will get better with his intermediate throws.
If you get your hands on it, catch it. Especially when you are $30 million players like Moss, Lloyd, and ARE. Moss' drops were inexcusable, I expect he'll be better next week.
I couple of the Moss drops were behind him, but if it hits his hands, he's GOT to catch it.
This was probably one of his worst healthy performances as a Redskin. ARE lit up the place, though! He's second or third now in the NFL in rec yards.

These guys have been catching balls their entire lives. They're being paid MILLIONS of dollars a year to catch balls.

They all looked like smoot when he was about to get that INT. They where looking at getting a touchdown before catching the ball.
while a very good point. you do have to take into consideration the switch from a soft throwing left handed qb to a rocket throwing right handed qb. the ball looks different coming in. the spiral is backwards. all that jazz. not saying its a GOOD excuse. but its a valid one. though i do think it should have been focused on in the offseason to minimize the transition.Quote:
