Sorry I was out all weekend and just got time to use a computer again before conditioning. I just responded to GOSKINS personal message and will check back in a bit. Sorry about the delay.

well for waiver wire, just randomize it...or we can fight over it
i still say go with the reverse order of the 1st round of our draft for the waiver priority.
and isn't us going one at a time - one player at a time, just like drafting free agents? this is kinda why i said it might be best to wait until we have our league page so that we can acquire free agents, freely.
and wow, Aaron Rogers to Chuong's team? i definitley didn't see that one coming anytime soon.
yea thats better, i agreeQuote:

Free Agency
I think we should just start this when the main site is up. That way we won't have to deal with a separate thread on the issue. We open it up at a specific time and date, and Yahoo will do the work for us.
Waiver Wire
No one should be able to drop anyone before the site is up. Once free agency begins, so should the waiver wire. If we're going to do reverse order from our first round, yippee skippy for me. Once again, Yahoo will do all the work.
Also, with the waiver wire, I think we can have a rolling priority (not sure if that's the lingo, but work with me here). Basically, let's say I have top priority (or priority 1 of 12), once I make a move, I should drop to priority 12 out of 12, and whoever was priority 2 out of 12 moves up to 1 out of 12. Everyone else also moves up a spot. That way I won't be able to dominate every single waiver wire acquisition. I'm also 99% sure you're able to do that on Yahoo.
Length of Time on Roster
I think this is important, because as someone said, your opponent can simply pick up and drop someone that's a free agent, and lock him up for that week (because he hasn't cleared waivers). I would say that if you pick someone up during the week, he has to be on your gameday roster. It sounds a little harsh, but I don't know any other way to circumvent this problem.
[QUOTE=Phoward12]Give him some time, these last two rounds went by pretty fast, he probably doesn't realize it's back to him yet.
Bidding
This doesn't sound like a bad idea for free agency. It would be much more similar to the NFL free agency. Like SkinsNut said, we can all have $100 to pay as we see fit. We could keep it in a separate thread, so it doesn't have to get messy, and everyone would know who's getting bid on.
We could do it like this: Let's say a player is a free agent, and a bunch of people bid on him. After three days with no more bids on the player, the highest bidder gets him. What do you guys think?

for the roster time, what if i pick somebody up and then realize i would rather have somebody else. is the first person i picked up locked up on my starting lineup already or can i switch?
and i dont think the bidding would even make sense. first of all, it would make things much more complicated. and second, wouldnt that just completely defeat the purpose of waiver priority if we start bidding on players? then the waiver wire doesnt even come into play......so no, i disagree with bidding
seriously....sure didnt see that eitherQuote:

and while the bidding is an interesting idea.....i'm not sure it's gonna be a good fit for our league.
Yeah it'll probably turn around and hurt me in the end, but just wanted in case anything happened.Quote:

hey girls, my picks up...tell em what you think...
jsut a reminder, for those looking to have mult picks in later rounds, PM me......i want to trade off my picks in round 19-24(i will give you a couple fo those picks for something in the upcoming rounds..)
Trade to announce
Skinsnut73 and Armchair
Chester Taylor for Michael Turner
Swap places in the 12th round
Just for clarification, we're talking about the free agency period following the draft when there is no waiver wire priority. How are we going to handle multiple requests for the same player with everybody jumping on him at the same time?Quote:

Agreed to this trade.Quote:
