Agreed.

We can usually find the Pale Ale for around $15.00. All of the SA products, except for the Bigfoot, cost the same. All things being equal, I'd go for the Torpedo almost every time. With that being said, I think that charging the same for their Summerfest lager is a joke. That stuff just isn't that good.

I learned a while back to only put beer in the kegerator that I like. If my buddies like it, (which they usually don't), more power to them. If they don't, more beer for me!

Tonight I got a six of Loose Cannon for $12. It was $9.50 at the old liquor store. :mad:

Still can't pass it up on a hot summer weekend.

Jeez, I don't think I've ever even seen that stuff. Definitely not at any stores around here. I'll look for it next time I head up to the craft 'R Us store.

Been neglecting this thread but not beer. Wish I would have doumented some of the stuff I've been drinking. It really is easier to write something up quick and then rfer to it later to see how I felt about a beer.

Finally tried the #8 that's been sitting in my fridge for a month or so. Really liked it. Found a store that carries all three as well, but it is a 30min drive and I forgot to buy any when I was up there. The store is next to the Pizza Port (Port Brewing) in Carlsbad. I was there for the Real Ale Fest. 60 Cask beers. I keep meaning to post what I had there. I have a list at home.

Really smooth. Much more chocolate than I was expecting. If you ever want to spend $13 on a beer this will not disappoint you.

I've got a keg of Hop Devil in the kegerator now, which is excellent. I haven't tried the Hop Wallop yet. I'll have to grab a sixer, to see if it's "keg-worthy"

Jeez, everything is so expensive in Montgomery County, this place sucks when it comes to alcohol. I have to start doing big beer runs outside of this area. :mad:

Go to the montgomery county liquor control stores...great deals!

I bought a bottle of Van Winkle for $35 bucks when other places were charging around $50....the White Oak store was huge.

Tell me what you want and I'll check the prices around here.

If you think that they're reasonable, I'll pick some up and give you the beer at the tailgate. We bring so much crap, I can probably only fit a case.

I found this place in Hagerstown that sells these beers for dirt cheapn 9.99 a 6er. I picked up a 6er of smuttynose ipa for 6.99 and a 6 er of Lancaster Hop Hog for 7.99. They have ridiculous prices on beer with a very good selection.

Tonight I taste and review the #10...I'm looking forward to it.
