I usually work out my upper body twice a week. I usually do about 6 sets of some sort of chest exercise each time, whether it's db press or flyes. Well, yesterday I, for some reason, ended up doing 8 sets of flyes. The first 2 were easy, and the next 6 I went hard. Is that way too much? And if so, should I just proceed on Monday like nothing happened or take an extra day off? It seems to me like doing one really, really hard day would help to mix things up as long as you don't do that every time.
